90%~ of multiplats (all of XBs games) are factually better on (GTX1060) PC than XB. This is objectively recorded via Digital Foundry, among other tech sites.

Are people factoring in that an extremely large majority of GTX1060 owners overclock the card?

And that generally, overclocked third party cards are cheaper then Nvidia's FE?

So the gap is even larger as the benchmarks are only using FE cards.

I'm sure if you went to Microsoft and said the X isn't as powerful as PC they wouldn't give 2 monkey's.

The most powerful console in the world and the fact it has PC features in certain games is more than any other console before it.

If you took into consideration every PC on the planet I bet its better than 50% of PC's at least.

Nonsense. The PS4/X1 launched around the mid tier of PC hardware (AMD 7850/7790 or GTX 660/650). That's exactly where the X1X finds itself right now (the GTX 1060 is mid tier GPU).

The PS3/360 launched at the high end (GTX 7800 GPU equivalent). The PS2/Xbox/Gamecube were more powerful than any PC at the time. Likewise for the N64/PS1.

It's only relatively recently that PC hardware has started to overtake console hardware.

quad, doue, scatt, and the rest of the Clowns are sad because Sony lost the power advantage for many years. Most likely until at least 2020.

To be fair, QK is on point.

It was a pleasure and the gifs were fun. The coming years I will enjoy the Mighty X for many hundreds of hours on my new 4K set, enjoying pretty much a balanced high end PC gaming experience optimized for delicious couch gaming.

There are some really akwards, sad, ugly minded and perhaps also sick minded people lurking on these forums. This area on the long term is infectious for a healthy soul. Ignoring gaming all together just to seek out a fight to satisfy the ego and justify their purchase. Ouch, I'm outta here again boys.

Well I read this entire thread and all I got from you is the same gifs you post in every thread, say everyone is mad, I rekt you, and you butt hurt for every one of your responses. You have become one of the most unoriginal posters on system wars. You really need a new shtick.

It is pretty obvious the X is around the power of a 1060 and has a crippled CPU. With games that are not CPU bound the system is capable of being faster then a 1060 in certain circumstances. There was no way Microsoft could of had a better CPU, 12GB of RAM, and the GPU they do and still keep the price under $500. There was no way Microsoft could put a GPU better then a 1070 without pricing the system higher. For what the system is it is a very capable system and I have enjoyed every game on the system. I just wished they would get some of the enhanced games out like the Division and Doom. I hope Microsoft is working on some new original content like they say they are. Sony has a good model and it is why they are the king currently.

In case you didn't even damn notice before X1X reveal at E3 2017 and after release. Yo boy Ron was soooo convince it's on the GTX 1070 same level, he got a lot of Lems joining his cult of a PC wannabe and when the truth caught up to him, he hurt all the lems feelings and made them look like fools.

Idiots saying it was on par with high-end PCs were only setting themselves up for failure as we can see now though.

Yes, that was one crazy ass fanboy who doesn't even post here anymore. Anyone with some common sense could see the specs and know that the system is no where near the same level as a PC with a good CPU and a 1070. There is no way Microsoft could build a system that had a CPU, GPU, and RAM at that level and keep the price under $500. Hell a 1070 equivalent GPU retails at around $350-$400 that doesn't give much wiggle room for a controller, 4K Bluray drive, hard drive, RAM, CPU, and R&D. I thought it was common damn knowledge that the X is around a 1060 with a shit CPU in performance. Hell the specs is just a little better then a 580 and we all know where that performance is around a 1060.

You can't take a few rabid fanboys and apply it to everyone. People get crazy over this shit and it is weird. Microsoft made a system that has a 580/1060 class GPU, a crappy CPU, 12 gigs of ram, hard drive, controller, and built awesome hardware for $499 which is pretty damn nice for the money. Games run pretty damn good on it and people should be happy with it if you like Xbox.

I also never understood why 1060 level performance is a bad thing. The 1060 is a very good card performance wise and pretty awesome to get that in a console. Microsoft created a console that meets that goal all for $500 which is pretty damn good if you want a Xbox. I have a nice gaming rig with a 1070 and I still like my X. I am on a computer all damn day and I enjoy going home and playing games just on consoles. They fit my lifestyle better right now and so I really enjoy the Pro, X, and Switch.

The XBX GPU should be like an overclocked 1060/580 power-wise. What will most probably make the difference is that those GPUs will be paired with a more capable CPU.

Don't get me wrong, I think MS did the best they could with X1X in terms of specs what they could afford with. As a PC gamer, even I already admit it's a good upgrade console that stumps the Pro in every ways. But still, the Xbox One/X brand needs more new exclusive games is what's holding the consoles back.

Not bad for a budget PC, easily beating XB1X. On top of several other games he didn't mention that are stuck on 20-30fps on XB1X and not on PC. Then we have incredibly superior online and exponentially more aaa/aa. Mid PC is a superior buy.

If you look at raw specs..... fill rate, texel rate.....Tflops...etc...etc..... X is actually slower then a stock RX580.

From what i've read nvidia has already slowed production down of there current line and mass production of the GDDR6 has already begun (memory thats going to be used for Volta). It's looking like we could see them around Computex expo time which is late spring
