Bloodborne is already 29th place for the year and Type-0 is faring even better (little surprise since it's been out a little longer).

There's a gravitational pull effect towards the top items. The top 10 items remain consistent from month to month and even on the yearly charts. Once you drop below 15 the items can be rather transient. With the holiday season bump over and the tax refund hike playing out, we've seen the PS4 move down slightly from being a top 5 item, but never far from that place. The Xbox is slipping and moved fairly rapidly.

However, all this talk of Amazon is aside the point the OP makes, which is from the perspective of having games that move the Xbox. To that end, I would suggest you take a second look at the list from a software perspective and the story becomes much clearer.

You're right. It's even more disastrous when you look at it from a software standpoint. There's really no exclusive in the near future that will move Xbone hardware. Halo 5 has potential but even that won't be enough with the onslaught of 3rd party games like Star Wars Battlefront, Batman, MGSV, Witcher 3, COD, etc. that will be releasing around the same time. Star Wars especially if it runs better on PS4 (it's using Frostbite 3 engine and we all saw how that turned out with BF games) has the potential to really knock the wind out of Halo's sails this holiday season.

Halo is nowhere near as popular as it used to be, and now it has to deal with a new Star Wars game on next-gen, I just don't see it moving units like Halo 3 did back in the day. Even if by some miracle Halo 5 starts to do serious numbers Sony can always drop the PS4's price and K.O. MS this holiday.

Jesus christ, everyone stop calling the Xbox One a "disaster." It's a good console and is selling better than most consoles in history...Ever. Everyone was so hungry for a new console after waiting eight years that for the first time the majority of gamers actually went out and got one around launch time, hence the record-breaking sales. The PS4 was dubbed to be more powerful (only slightly so though, I can't tell the difference though honestly) and was $100 cheaper, so naturally more people went out and got it. I was one of those people - I bought a PS4 at launch despite generally preferring Xbox games. However, I got extremely bored with it due to the severe lack of games (but somehow Bloodborne, a niche title to the extreme that half of you probably don't even like, makes up for all of that) and bought an Xbox One in August as soon as they dropped the Kinect because I didn't care about it and thought $500 was a little too much.

Since owning an Xbox One, I very rarely even turn on my PS4. I don't care about Bloodborne either and probably will never buy it. It's not my kind of game and my two friends who own it hate it. All of those multiplats you just named will look and run way better on PC anyway, so don't act like the PS4 is some dream machine - not a single one of those games you mentioned will be 1080p and 60fps except for Call of Duty, but that's not saying much. I'll be getting the PC version of those games, I wouldn't touch them on a console anyway. The next exclusive PS4 owners have to look forward to is Uncharted and that won't be until next year. Meanwhile, Xbox One owners have Halo 5, Forza 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Quantum Break (if it doesn't get delayed) to look forward to in 2015. So yeah, the Xbox One is no "disaster." Every PS4 owner acts like it just got it's e-peen sucked because Bloodborne got good reviews after every PS4 exclusive so far has flopped like a motherfucker.

You're not a cow simply because you own a PS4. Same holds true for XOne and WiiU owners. It's a lot more to being a cow than just owning the system.

1st of all dude, I didn't own the PS4 at the time I owned my XOne. I got my XOne at launch and kept it for a while. I sold it to my 23 year old step son so I kept it in the family. I purchased the Destiny PS4 edition because of games like BB AND the fact I liked the look of the white PS4. I didn't purchase it till a few months AFTER selling my XOne. Still don't know the definition of a cow, lem, sheep or herm I see. I already explaing why I sold it and Halo 5 isn't coming out till the end of the year IF it doesn't get delayed. If Bloodborne is not Killzone, Bloodborne gets less than a score of zero from me. Killzone Shadowfall just makes zero sense. Why would they want to give half of their planet away to a people for whom they just destroyed their home world? If I were relocated to the planet of the people responsible for destroying my world, I would see a great opportunity to get revenge a million times over, literally. The story makes no sense at all, and the game play just plain sucks. This is not the sequel to Killzone 3 that I wanted from them. Honestly, the game play in Bloodborne looks a lot better than that game, but at the same time, it looks too dark and gritty for my tastes, which is a shame, since the game play looks so fun. All my opinions of course.

For me, No Man's Sky and Uncharted 3 are gonna be where it's at along with Persona 5. Yeah, the later is coming to PS3, but I only have a PS4. Same goes for No Man's Sky. I don't have a rig that can run it, and the one I have now is about five years old.

As for Xbox One, trollers are gonna troll. It's a great system because of the games out now as well as the games coming out. I think both systems as well as Wii U are great. I'm just waiting for more games I want to play to come out on PS4. Persona 5 as well as FF XV and KH 3 are gonna be played heavy on PS4. As far as I'm concerned, PS systems are the true home of great RPGs.

You guys keep comparing it to PS4, which is a HUGE success. That's like saying, "If you don't sell as much as Call of Duty, then you're a failure." There are hits out there that earn their companies a lot of money, but comparing them to Call of Duty wouldn't be fair.
