Turns out all the leaks were wrong - the Xbox One doesnt have a 1.25 TFLOPS GPU. It only has a 1.1 TFLOPS GPU for games.

and everyone said one would be ten times greater than wiiu lol only four times power wise but game wise a total new ball gamemariokart64fanmy ipad is 10 times more powerful than a wiikU. cable box will crush the little WiiU because wiiu is what we had in 05 and last time i checked cable box/ps4 aren't being released to compete against last gen systems.
and dat 1.1tflops equals to what kind of gpu in our day and age? Something like the 6870 or higher? Anyways, a weak system is an insta gtfo for me.silversix_More like a radeon 5750

No one knows how powerful the WiiU is.
You and your "no one knows how powerful the wiiu is". Yes, every sane person knows how it is, its wiik. But i bet you need like 3 years to be proven that, by Nintendo's first party never even approaching Uc3/KZ3, forget about surpassing[QUOTE="silversix_"]and dat 1.1tflops equals to what kind of gpu in our day and age? Lems must be devastated knowing that the PS4 has much better graphics.
This gen they showed everybody how obsessed they were with comparing multiplatform games, claiming victory when the differences were only minor.
More like a radeon 5750are you serious? Yes, the rumours were indeed 6850/70 but they they need that GPU for something else too. Think of it as a slightly updated radeon 5750.[QUOTE="DrTrafalgarLaw"][QUOTE="silversix_"]and dat 1.1tflops equals to what kind of gpu in our day and age? Something like the 6870 or higher? Hermits and their obsession with power. Wait, some will come in and say power doesn't matter after mocking consoles for not having enough!TheWalkingGhostThe issue is the Cable Box One is weaker than the PS4. Not sure what hermits have to do with anything, unless you equate discussion of specs to nerdy talk among hermits.

IIRC, PS4 will only be able to use about 6.5Gb of its ram for games. This is expected with these bloatware features on the new consoles

and yet the games will look the same like before, considering once again its easier to design on the xbox. its going to be the same thing as the ps3 vs 360 crapJetB1ackNewYearNo it wont.. the architecture on the ps4 and xbox are very similar.. the ps4 is just (as this and many other threads show) more powerful. At this point... lems want the ONE to pull down the PS4.... wow.

Last rumoured was 512MB, so even if we go up to 1GB that's 7GB free for games, even 6.5GB for games is still quite a bit more than 5GB.IIRC, PS4 will only be able to use about 6.5Gb of its ram for games. This is expected with these bloatware features on the new consoles

But,, but,,,, but MS says you can take extra hardware from the cloud so the system will never get outdated.
LOL I will beleive that when I see it, maybe 10 years from now that will work out.

That GDDR5 is freakin SEXY. Yep so far devs love the PS4 hardware. I like it when devs say good things than I know there will be great games.

Architecturally the XBONE will likely be harder as it has lower specs both in raw processing power and bandwidth (which could further hobble the XBONE), but much of it will come down to the tools that Sony and Microsoft provide to developers.
I don't think anyone has made a real comparison there that I've seen at least, but the PS4 has received good reviews from developers for being easy to develop with. It certainly won't be anywhere near hard enough to erase the PS4's inherent advantages.
Even with lazy cross-platform efforts the PS4 should run at a higher/more stable framerate, higher resolution, or be able to push more effects (physics, AA, etc.)
