At the time of its announcement, these were the same fanboys claiming that thanks to Xbox Play Anywhere, the Xbox One lost all it's exclusives and there's no reason to buy the console.. Everyone is just going to build gaming PCs now and buy PS4s for "true exclusives"..

Fast forward, Xbox Play Anywhere is here, and the Xbox One has outsold the PS4 for three months in a row.. It's time for these cows to wake up and realize that there's a strong and healthy console market that doesn't care what also available for PC. they only care what's available on consoles.. So all this "lolz teh Xbone has no exclusives!!1!" nonsense has no bearing on the real world..

Which brings us back on topic: Xbox One is enjoying some well deserved momentum and the Xbox exclusive, Forza Horizon 3, launched to commercial success.. Good stuff..

You can't access xbox one games from PC you MORON.. as easy as that and the argument is over,there is no one code crap,no MS exclusive no windows 10 hypocrisy ,if you simple can't take an xbox one game and play it on your PC then it is not the same code and is multiplatform.

Pro games are backward and forward compatible,the xbox one uses an enclosed variation of windows 10,were every game must be signed by MS period,you can't play games for PC on xbox and can't play xbox games on PC which means that what you get on PC is a tailor made version for PC.

For the month of October the PS4 has been kicking the xbox one ass in stores like amazon,3 and 4 bundles on top of the XBO,in this very moment 3 PS4 are on top of the xbox one first bundle which by the way is at spot 62 ,the pro hasn't stop beating the xbox one since it arrived on amazon and on top of that several PS4 bundle as well is not even close.

That's not true. UWP on Xbox One supports developing both apps and games. Of course it's not 1 single piece of code, it runs on different devices (smartphones to xbox to hololens)... Just like PC games are adjusted for different form factors of PC's (high specs, low specs). So that means PC doesn't have any exclusives? Because the code is adjusted for different Windows OS, and different types of hardware, maybe even specific for AMD or Nvidia sometimes... These games are exclusives because they ONLY run on Windows & Xbox One, same code base.

Well look at it this way i have being gaming since i was a little kid in the late 70's and my Thumb has never being a problem,on arcades or controllers,in fact am one of those posters who say you can adapt to controllers instead of trying to downplay them like lemming have done with the DS,i even adapted to the huge ass xbox controller back in 2001...

There is a difference between a PC game that works on all PC across different GPU vs UWP which does not make xbox games compatible with PC or the other way around,you can't take QB for XBO and install it on your PC,regardless of using UWP the same with recore,gears and FH3 you can't install those games from xbox on PC,because they are incompatible.

PC games work on all hardware 1 version and you can take that code from a desktop with a 1080 and i7 and run it on a RX480 with an FX 8350 and it will run fine,it is confirmed that you can't install the PC version on xbox or the xbox one version on PC.

Is not even close,what you claim is how PC,3DS and PS4 Pro run games not how xbox one run its games.

And the xbox one runs a custom Kernel based on windows 10.

You can't take a PC app and install it on xbox,nor an xbox game and install it on PC,regardless of both using windows 10 because the xbox one version is custom and LOCK.

Nope, I would say that every game that can only be played via a PlayStation console/service is a "PlayStation exclusive".. there's nothing confusing about that at all.. that's just a plain and simple fact..

Games that can only be played via a PlayStation 4 console are exclusive to the PlayStation 4 console.. TLOU is not exclusive to the PS4 console because it can be played on a PS3 console and on a PC via PS Now.. But TLOU is definitely exclusive to "PlayStation".. TLOU is a AAA flagship PlayStation exclusive.. again, how is this confusing?..

Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, said that he's moving towards providing "Xbox as a service".. meaning that the "Xbox" brand and the Xbox Live service are taking center stage moving forward with both consoles and PCs being separate but equal mediums to play Xbox games.. Xbox Play Anywhere and the unified Windows Store are the first major steps in that direction.. Why would I "stop it with this brand stuff" if that's the very direction that the company is going?..

So, as I've already stated several times in this very thread, Forza Horizon 3 is not exclusive to the Xbox One.. but it is indeed exclusive to "Xbox", Xbox Live, and the Windows Store.. which according to Phil's "Xbox as a service" initiative, makes it an Xbox exclusive.. that's not confusing at all and it's actually a very simple and accurate description..
