Voice talent is a must for the next Zelda. Link doesn't have to talk, but people need to talk.
Also music needs to be a live orchestra. They also need to make music a key gameplay element again.
ALso the main villain can not be ganondarf. He can make an appearance, but there to need to be an even greater evil foe.
Boss Battles need to be fun again, and sidequests need to be made fun and useful.
Also when ever you visit a locale the village should be lively, and I should be able to do a bunch of sidequests helping people out.
ALso bring back the masks. It doesn't have to play a major role like in majora's mask, but you should be able to gain some attributes by wearing it.
Also bring back special swords and weapons.
Personally I want a darker story, however it is ost likely going to maintain Link good guy image. It would be nice if he had to make some tough decisions that could alter how the game turns out.

1. Yes. Everyone else needs to talk -- but I think it should be in a made up language, like in Shadow of the Colossus.
2. Yes. Nintendo showed they could do it well in Galaxy, so Zelda needs to have it, too.
3. Yes, or at least make Ganondorf similar to how he was in TWW. I did not like the TP version of Ganondorf.
4. I think the boss battles have always been fun. I just think they need to be harder. And YES to more fun and useful sidequests. I want MM/TWW quality sidequests again.
5. Yes. I disliked how Hyrule Town in TP had so many people yet it seemed so lifeless. In fact, the entire land of TP Hyrule felt lifeless.
6. Yes! Or have something similar to the masks.
7. What do you mean, bring back special swords and weapons? Like sidequest items that you don't need to finish the game, but are awesome nonetheless?
8. I don't want the story darker -- everyone wanted a "darker story" and we got TP as a result. I want a more mature story -- maybe something like MM's, where there a lot of implications but it doesn't necessarily say it outright.
Nintendo might as well make a Majora's Mask 2 already. ;)
