Zelda Needs A Dark, Gritty Reboot

All Zelda need's is to find that sweet spot between dark and atmospheric and cheery and upbeat and drop the ridiculous handholding, I don't think i've ever known 6 year olds to play Zelda.

Twilight Princess is easily the best Zelda, an incredible game, Skyward Sword really dropped the ball on some things (handholding,padding), but does some things better than TP.

Dont try and insert your horrible opinion as fact, many people hated it including myself. More then half of that game was some of the most boring gaming I have ever experianced.

Those who scream Wind Waker are a loud obnoxious minority on the internet.  That game was trash.  Skyward Sword is pretty great though, which has a lot in common to TP's design.  Gameplay wise, anyhow.

No. Zelda along with every other Nintendo franchise needs to retire. There are like 30 Zelda games. It is borderline insanity that people still buy them.

They should remake Adventure of link, it would be like playing a new game considering it was a 2d sidescroller. Going up against them b's with 3d graphics would be amazing.

I always like the thought of Legend of Zelda with God of War scale + Shadow of the Colossus boss battles. 

And no, I don't like Darksiders. 

Personally I'd prefer a new Zelda with Windwaker graphics but that may be just me.

No. It needs more Majoras Mask kind of style and in 1080p for none blurry mess kind of gameplay. Leave 'dark zelda' to  the one and only Dark Souls 2.

I would like to see a darker Zelda, but no one that looks like this. Just take the Twilight Princess artstyle and give it a darker story. Just because you want to take a franchise in a darker direction doesn't mean you need to make an abomination like this.

Zelda does need to go the way of the Manga.

If you guys have Zelda Historia or any of the Zelda Manga, the Manga seems to be a lot darker than what the game feels like.

Then again, All I want in a Zelda game is Assassin's Creed type Climbing.

I was under the impression that that's what Nintendo was doing with the new Zelda. The "mature" Zelda game that's supposed to be open world. That was what I got anyway.
