I thought it was something like that.I think a mob is basically a npc that is usually hostile to the player.

So how much of the game will be NPCs? Can players only be SG teams, Jaffa, Ori (hopefully) etc. Or does this game allow you to be anything you want? It seems to revolve around combat a lot.

Really we dont know much at all. You can choose to be either jaffa or human and sometimes they must work together to defeat a bigger enemy such as the Ori and maybe Replicators. I have no idea how the combat or classes are going to work out but there should be vehicles but no flight as far as i know. Im sure that they will populate some of the game with NPC's but hopefully most of it will be PvP.

I'm sure people will make mods to make other things from the Stargate universe possible so if something you want isn't in the original game there is always the chance of mods adding it in.
I would like to see Atlantis in the original game. You would have to do a certain amount of things before getting a powerful enough powersource to gate to Pegasus. Would add a nice quest between teams to see who could "claim" Atlantis first:).
A new interview.
MMORPG.com: Give us some idea of the technology that will make its way into the game. Will players be able to develop and specialize in understanding and creating different forms of technology we have seen in SG-1 and Atlantis?
Dan Elggren: Crafting will play a big role in Stargate Worlds. Players will be able to create new items and upgrades in a way that mirrors the "arms race" that was such a big part in the series. Alien artifacts can be "reverse engineered" and the technology used in crafting recipes.
Im not sure how fast 2 MB is to be honest. If you just go http://reviews.cnet.com/7004-7254_7-0.html you can use a cnet one. Just put in a few details like your service and area code and just hit test. Then when it gets done it will tell you how fast it is. Mine is about 2700 kbps which is better than a t1 line (but not the same upload lol).

Thanks :). Mine came up as 462.2 kbps. That's about in the middle. Maybe 8mb should be fine for and upgrade. I think it costs about £7 extra.

That would be quite a bit better and really should improve gaming performance. Especially when SGW comes out since you need to transfer data back and forth otherwise you'll get lag and we'll only see you jumping around which ticks other people off lol. Still that seems kinda expensive for your service. I pay about 40 USD a month for my service but i dont know how much your already paying for your service.
recently their has been a push in the wifi direction, with blanket coverages to some town and cities where the experiemt is taking place, but you get disconnected every hour but you can just log back in and since its free i wouldnt mind having thatmjk1
I dont see that happening in very many rural areas or reaching that far out. He might still have a Panera Bread and Starbucks that have hotspots so he could possibly play online there on a laptop lol.
I just checked my service prices. I can get 8mb broadband with unlimited monthly usage allowance for £14.99. I think that's a bit of a rip off though. I'm sure I could find 16mb for a little bit extra.
