Are Call of Duty 3 and Gears of War worth buying? I especially want to know if there's any online activity.. :)Tyrant360

Gears of War is definitley worth buying. However Call of Duty 3 is the least best Call of Duty game for the 360 in my opinion. Instead go for Call of Duty 4 which is superb as it takes a modern twist and the multiplayer an singleplayer is one of the best for the 360, but if you want a WW2 go for Call of Duty 3 purely because i don't think CoD2's Multiplayer is that active. :)

what about fighting games like Dead Or Alive 4 or Virtual Fighter 5OldProf

well it's the only game i've played, so i can hardly comment

BUT i will anyway!if your into extreme sports at all EA Skate is a must have!! the game is truely amazing, physics, graffix.. the sound effects are crisp too

(and it's not like those tony hawks games where you fly around like super man doin tripple backlips to nose manualsand crap like that, it's much smoother and realistic)

What should I get for chrismas is there any 07 game worth getting if I own or have owned lost planet, graw2, Bioshock, halo3,OB,AC,cod4,and mass effect?(no xbox orinals from martketplace)

If you have a wireless connection throughout your home you can buy the Wireless Network Adapter for your 360. If you decide to go wireless and your 360 lags afterward, I recommend getting a new Router with a bigger range, and that should cover all the way to your basement. If your gonna be going with all wires, it depends on what floor your Modem and Router is on.

As for SP games, BioShock, Oblivion (The Game of the Year Edition recently came out with all the expansions), Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Condemned, and Eternal Sonata just to name a few.

hey guys my topic got locked so im bringing it over here. im getting two games for christmas out of bioshock cod4 and the orange box what 2 should i get?

i already have halo 3 if that means anything and will the community for tf2 die out pretty quickly?kwonny

CoD4 I would say is a must have. The MP will be busy for a long while. BioShock is a great SP experience, also a must have. An alternitive would be get The Orange Box and CoD4 and after Christmas then buy BioShock used. Thats if you want OB badly enough. ;)

So my question is like the rest, which game shall I get.

I think about Halo3, The Orange box and Oblivion.

The thing is that oblivion is really cheap now, so Should I buy that now and save the other ones and then when they are cheaper? Or are halo 3 or orange box THAT good that I should get them right away?

Obilvion - Has the new GOTY Editon has I stated above. Will cost you more if you bought Obilvion used plus the two expansions. Oblivion itself has at least 100+ hours of game time, even without the expansions. Your call on what to do there.

Halo 3 - Has very large online community, unfortunatly this also means it has the most violent and dumbest of gamers than any other game out there. This game can be a blast if you have friend that have it to.

I cant realy say to much about the OB, never played it.

OB is god in single player the multiplayer is aswome but small.

I think its cheaper to do that then buy them individualy on LIVE. Once you have it though, you have to use the disk to play the games, you won't be able to upload them to your HDD.

AC is SP only. Still a great game.

Other MP games: CoD4, Orange Box(Team Fortress), Rainbow Six Vegas, Virtual Fighter 5 Online.

I would say it's only worth a rental at most, unless your a hardcore WW2 FPS fan. The story isn't that great and a lot of people have said it is difficult to aim due to recoil. If you are looking for a better WW2 shooter i would go for Call of Duty 2 or Call of Duty 3 which are overall, much better games.

It's really your prerogative. Depending if you will play lots of Halo 3, The Orange Box is more value for money as it has 4 games and one online game all in one box. Halo 3 is one of those games you either love or hate. For me it is the latter as the story was nothing special and online for me isn't a very enthralling experience. I would suggest either renting them or just go into the shop and impulse buy which ever one you want. :)

Is it fun to play Crackdown for a long time or do you get bored after you've completed all the missions. I'm thinking about buying it but i want a game that'll last for a long time(i've got Saints Row, Dead Rising, And Oblivion).

I played it for quite a while. It depends how you play it. It is very time consuming collecting all the orbs and it is fun when you have your powers maxed out and you can just jump around killing gang members and jumping roof to roof, but it does wear thing after a while. I played it for a good 20 hours (collecting orbs, etc) but if you're are looking for longevity, i would suggest Mass Effect?

I've got a broad one for you. I'm finally getting a 360 for Christmas and I need game suggestions. I'm already getting Halo 3, and the system comes with Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock are out because I've got a friend who has promised to let me borrow them both. Possiblites include Assassin's Creed, Oblivion GOTY and Ace Combat 6. LOL good one, warzone and execution are nearly identical and your gonna want to stick to one of them, no one i know likes assassination, and anniux is just ok, so i would say 2 game modes. halo3s matchmaking has a good 12 or more, not to mention custom gamesazorath44

The purpose is to give other ppl suggestions on what games to get, not explain why another game is better or worse.

Gears is definitely a must have for your Xbox 360. Instead of COD3 I think you should buy COD4 as it is one of the best in the series. :)

I personally don't like racing sims. I'm more of a NFS guy. So if thats you, trade Forza 2.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is like the Baldur's Gate/X-Men Legends type of game. Also MUA is a good achievement start off game.

Yep. CoD4 has local MP. No co-op though.
