I recommend three games that I have really enjoyed "GEARS OF WAR"9.6 "HALO 3" 9.5 and "CALL OF DUTY 4"9.0

[QUOTE="nakasa5"]Which is the better game, Bioshock or Assassins Creed? Both seem like great single player experiences. Which one has better replay? Better story? I can only get one, and it's between these two. I love both third person adventures and shooters, so their respective genres do not factor in to the decision for me.
Thanks for any help!

If it's possible, get them both. However, if you can only get one, Bioshock easily.
Thanks! picked it up today!
Guitar Hero 3 sounds a good game for you in a way. It has replayability in that you practice the songs you like and try and achieve 100% in them. The game gets harder on the different settings and takes practice to go up a level. There is a demo of that on live marketplace which you can use your normal controller for, however, the guitar is best (but the normal controler is still fun).
The Half Life 2: Orange box game set also sounds like its something you may consider, it has 5 games (Half Lfe 2, Episode 1 and 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2), this is a good mixture of games and also has a demo on marketplace to try I believe.
I myself am wandering what to get next, I have Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Call of Duty 2, Dead Rising, Fifa 08, Guitar Hero 3, GRAW 1, Halo 3, Oblivion, Orange Box, PGR3, Saints Row, Test Drive unlimited and Two Worlds.
I have been looking at Skate (enjoyed the demo), Fifa 08 (or Pro Evolution Soccer 2008), Assassins Creed, or maybe something else (I could get a couple of older games maybe instead, SKATE and FIFA 08 are in the sales for £26 at the moment, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is but I am not sure how much it is). Any suggestions will be considered within reason.
Thanks (also I hope the information I gave helps Bloodletter91).

Problem is guitar hero 3 is expensive and I already play real guitar so yeah....
I have 2800 Microsoft Points that i got for Christmas. What should I buy and how much should I save? I'm looking into getting a couple arcade games, some downloadable content, and saving some for future dowloadable contentStevie_Q
So... the general consensus is buy any combination of Puzzle Quest/Castlevania/Bomberman and save the rest?
If anything, the people are right. The Orange Box is more amazing than it sounds. Literally. I didn't really have high expectations for it when i got it, but it blew me away. Half Life 2 is amazing, Portal is devilishly challenging and very funny, and Team Fortress 2 is outright hilarious to play.
It's like playing an old Warner bros. cartoon, every character is hilarious and its all incredibly wel done. Classes are so much fun to play as.
Mass Effect is pretty good too, not that far into it though.

I just boiught a XBOX 360 and I need to fill it up with good games but I don't much about them, I have had a Wii all this time, which I truly love.
I am not into FPS games so Halo is a NO NO for me, besides FPS what else is good in the 360?
aemena
Viva Pinata
Call of Duty 4
Kameo
Amped 3 - the game is AWESOME.
the three burger king games, they are super cheap and for the price they actually provide a decent amount of fun.
Rock Band--Great Party game or even solo is fun- I have 3 brother, im on guitar, bro on bass, bro on drums, bro on mic. Great fun that we enjoy when we arent grounded

lol. Drums take some getting used too. It's really hard to play when someone's on the Mic though, can't concentrate cause you'll be laughin' your arse off.

Orange Box - Best game ever
I don't care what the hell you think you want, because I know that you want the Orange Box.
Buy it.

Yes.
Ok I Have
Mass Effect
Halo 3
CoD4
Naruto: Rise Of A Ninja
Rainbow Six Vegas
and had Orange Box
I want to get another Singleplayer game, and I'm getting bioshock, could you recommend any others. That new burnout game looks good too, worth a buy?
MuNnY1212
Assassin's Creed, Overlord, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Oblivion Game of the Year Editon, Dead Rising (only if you have HD, text to small to read on an SDTV).
And yes, you can not go wrong with the Burnout series. :)
Best upcoming game for the 360 I would suggest Lost odyssey, if it is any comparison to FFVII/VIII/IX it is a definate buy.
Top game at the momentif you have Xbox livewould have tobe Call of Duty 4
If you do not have Xbox live then Elder scrolls 4 game of the year addition will give you 250+ hours of gameplay, great value for the price ^^
[QUOTE="elfsong"]Are there any naval WWII games for the Xbox? CooVeeThe only thing I can think of is Battlestations Midway. It is kind of a cross between RTS and a action game. You can command ships, subs and the like as well as planes.
That's the closest i can think of too. It's Gamespace is here if you want to check it out. :)

Yeah my brother kind of liked it but I can't really get into it. State what kind of games you are into here and then maybe I can get an understanding of whether you might like it or not.
I heard Tenchu Z has 4 player online co-op , is this true ? If so , is it fun to play online with friends ? Thanks :)
Oakfront

He may be refering to Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2. Those come bundled with the 360 Pro and the Elite.
If not. Out of the ones you listed. I recommend Gears of War and BioShock. Those are great games to start with on the 360. Play through Gears once or twice and you'll have the controller down.
Is Kameo worth buying? I'm sure I could find it for like 20 bucks since its old.
sexy_chimp
I have played it and i didn't like it but if its only $20 i would give it a try or rent it first.

Judging from what you posted, most are shooters. My favorite shooter out of the list would have to be HALO 3. Great game well worth the money in co-op, singleplayer, and awesome variety of multiplayer. I also like FORGE--Read up on it if you are interested.
I liked COD 4 also, great realistic shooter. Campaign was outstanding visually and in the gameplay itself.
Those and ASSASSINS CREED are my top picks although assassins creed can get repetitive.
