from what I've heard, Stranglehold is too short but at least you're not paying $60 for it. The multplayer for that game is also dead if I heard correctly.

Double Agent might be the better choice if you're into stealth/action games, though I'm not sure if the multiplayer is very active today.

yea i heard that too about stranglehold. i might rent it then. but yea i loved the previous splinter cells on the ps2. isnt double agent really similar to the previous ones? just small tweaks?

Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, The Orange Box, Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden II and Oblivion are all considerables.

Out these 3 summer games i can only buy 2 of em but i need some advice on which 2 to pick. Soul Caliber IV, Too Human, or BF:BC.

If you enjoy playing online BF:BC is a must. Sort of like TF2, Halo3, and COD4 combined together with a few extra features.

I was looking into buying Tenchu Z (along with a mate) so that we could play co-op online, I was wondering if it was good enough?Dr_Henry

I like Race Driver Grid but the novelty wears off after a while. So go with one of the other two in my opinion

What I'd like to ask you, Oh Gaming Community, which game should I pre-order, Far-Cry 2 or Fallout 3. I like the 3rd-person option in Fallout, I love the versatility In both games, and I like the realism in Far cry, so my choice will be based on your answers.

I really need a shooting game that'll last me till Gears of War 2 comes out... I was thinking of picking up the first GoW?

I don't think many people played Tenchu Z. I remember I didn't like it from the demo, but maybe you will, so I can't really say whether or not you should get it.

So due to the price drop on the 20 gig 360 pro i am going to FINALLY join the next gen system kids, but i will be some what stiff on cash left for some good, solid games that should keep me busy awhile until my next pay check, so i was wandering what are some good recommendations for a shooter style game with a great online community and service as well as any other great games in general that would be at a more budget minded price, thanks for all the helpvanbandit

COD4 and Halo 3 are probably the shooters with the best online communities. Gears of War might be worth a look aswell, expecially since it's older and therefore, presumably, cheaper.

Oblivion (GOTY Edition), Guitar Hero 2/3, Viva Pinata, Dead Rising, Forza 2, PGR4 and Lost Odyssey are also all worth a look if you can find them cheap.

Well, Fallout 3 is as much an RPG as it is a shooter, whereas Far Cry 2 looks to be much more of a traditional shooter. If you have a preference between the two genres, go with that. Personally I'd go with Fallout 3, since it's near enough post-apocalptic Oblivion with guns.

the catch is that im half way through the story in oblivion (i let my buddy borrow it and he broke it) and im having an itch to play it i also have 8000 MS points so i can get all the expansions

Yes i can think of three games DIRT,GRID. and PGR4 also no you dont have to do any of those things but you should try out Burnout:Paridise

Get Oblivion GOTY Edition, it already has all the expansions on the disc, so it'll save your MS Points.

Is there a driving or racing game that has a 'quick race' feature, and also has Aston Martin's available to drive, or Monaro's? Are most of the racing games on x360 hard to get used to, like you have to fix up your car and change parts etc?RE4WiiGirl

Second, only one store near me sells videogames and they only have about 15 for XBOX 360 (this is in Mexico, I teach at a University here). For the first six months of my XBOX I only had Perfect Dark Zero and PGR3. In the last two weeks I have gotten:

GoW, Viva Piñata, FIFA 08, Blue Dragon, and the XBOX live arcade bundle (5 arcade games).

I'm definately getting Forza 2.

My last game will either be: Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden 2, or Crackdown.

So, which one? Remember, no live, and I mostly play by myself.

me and my friend are playing through a few cheap, fun, online and co-op based games. we have a list in which we expect to go through, and can't decide which to get next.

GRAW 1, Rainbow 6 Vegas 1, and Saints Row

We would like a balance of FUN, EASY-ISH ACHIEVEMENTS, and ONLINE PLAY.

Which do you believe fits those catagories best?

I have played Gears of War and Forza 2 and I know they are both good. Never played a UT game before however. Right now I'm leaning towards Gears and Forza since I already have Halo, CoD4, and Bad Company for Multiplayer games. Any advice would be helpful though.

If your looking for similiar gameplay then Rainbow 6: Vegas 1 and 2 are good, but also Call of Duty 4 is quite similiar in terms of weapons and setting.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is missing and it is a must have for the 360NATE_DAWG_X

If you're looking for something quite lengthy then i would go for Oblivion, but i found BioShocks story to be more deep and being able to draw you in more than Oblivion's did. Your plan seems fine - i spent much more time playing Oblivion than i did BioShock.
