Anyone want to recommend a few online shooters that have a good community for a reasonable price?
I'm getting my 360 tomorrow so I just want to know.
I'm looking for a good brawler (though it doesn't have to be one) with swords and preferably a medieval/fantasy setting. I thought Dynasty Warriors was repititive, and Eragon spat on the movie that spat on the book.Slipstream720Wow you are right they ruined that series
Should I get fable II or Saints Row 2 i cant decide and I need an answer FAST cause im going tonight SanghelioFable II
If you are looking for a cheap pretty good online shooter get Rainbow Six Vegas. I still play it regularly, and its only $20Anyone want to recommend a few online shooters that have a good community for a reasonable price?

Yeah I was looking into it but I think I'll just wait for Gears 2 instead .. and maybe rent a few other games in the meantime.
This has probably been asked a milltion times, but Far Cry or Fable? Im getting Fallout next week and my friend says I should get FC instead of Fable since I would be playing two RPG's at once.. what do you think?jb_22vols
Well do you want a fun multiplayer and single player or do you want a game that will last forever that you can play the missions or fool around on?
ITs hard to compare both cuz they are complete opposite
Anyway i would say Fable 2 definitly its better!
Tell me which RPG is most like the RPG i want
I want it to be a good not to long to finish story with fun side missions. I would also like a huge world that i can fool around in if i dont want to do missions. Also i would like to make descions that effect the story or the game in general! thanks
I was think .....Oblivion, Fable 2, or Fallout 3

Fable 2 is definitely shorter than Fallout 3 and Oblivion.
Fable 2, Saints Row 2 or Fallout 3? Which one will LAST the longest? (NOT TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE MULTIPLAYER ASPECTS)
Fable 2: I've played the original Fable but didn't really enjoy it. I thought it was overly simple and didn't have much depth to it. I though the good/evil system wasn't very well implemented and I didn't get much satisfaction from either personality. HOWEVER the new Fable 2, from all the reviews I've read and watched, looks quite good and lively. I really like the improved social aspects (business, family, pet) and it's this that attracts me to it.
Saints Row 2: I've played Saints Row 1 and I loved it. It was fun; the story was fun; some activities were fun but after all the unlocks (golden weapons, etc.), it did get boring. Saints Row 2 still looks ridiculously fun but it still looks pretty much like SR1.
Fallout 3: I haven't played Fallout 1 or 2 but Fallout 3 looks fun. The VAT system looks interesting but the realtime FPS looks quite subpar. It doesn't look interesting or good (eg: holding down FIRE whilst a creature charges at you, seemingly unaffected by the bullets). Although the land is big, it doesn't look very interesting. I imagine most of the time I'd be walking from point A to B. It does give a WHOA when one first enters the game (the post-apolytpic environment) but without much of a developed population, it doesn't look very fun.
So, which one do you reccomend? :P
Just my 2 cents:
First choice is Fallout 3 - I'm going out on a limb with this one because it hasn't been released yet, but I have played through and enjoyed Oblivion (also by Bethesda). Your player character appears to have more customizable options than in Fable 2, the Fallout 3 game world will be huge (16 square miles, which is similar to Oblivion), and the VATS system looks like a lot of fun.
Second choice is Oblivion - This may be a better buy since it's been out for a while (but still is very interesting) and since you've already got a sci-fi type RPG, you may enjoy a change of pace with the swords and sorcery of Oblivion. Main character is very customizable, you can create new spells, enchant weapons...lots of side quests available (I particularly enjoyed the Thieves' Guild quests). Large game world.
Last choice if Fable 2 - PM seems to like adding in a ton of bells and whistles, but ignores some features that I think should be essential to a RPG that promises so much choice (such as not being able to change your race). Also, the coop play is limited in that the henchman character is just based on a pre-generated character design. Personally, I'll rent this one but not buy.
Like I said, this is just my 2 cents, but I hope it helps some.
OK heres the deal i'm getting an xbox 360 in a few hours but i don't know where to start!Theres so many good games its overwhelming and i'm gonna need help on this one.First off the xbox 360 comes with 3 games Rainbow 6 Vegas,Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon and for the price the games are practically free.
I was thinking of starting off with DeadRising and Oblivion(unless you want to change my mind) and i want to get 1 more game as well just to start off well but honestly theres to many cool ones like Fable 2,Gears 2 and Fallout 3 all coming out and i haven't played many of the xbox 360 games either so i don't know all the decent ones. Oh and i won't get Live for the time being so cross out Multiplayer gaming for now. Can anyone help me out here?

I'd say round out your collection. I'd pick up Fallout 3, FarCry 2, Dead Space, Midnight Club LA and maybe Fable II. That way you'd have an FPS RPG, an open-world FPS, a sci-fi/horror adventure, a racing game and a 3rd person action/RPG. Just my suggestion. I know those are all new releases, but hey you don't want to go back and play old crap, do you? :P

Ok so i've rounded some things up. The first 3 tom clancy games are all in one brand new, $15 with the xbox 360 so even if it is old and crap why the heck not?I could probably skip Oblivion and get Dead Rising and grab Fable 2. Now that ponders the question Gears 2 or Fallout 3?This is one tough cookie i suppose which ever game gives the best singleplayer which i'd say would be Fallout.
There you go i answered my own question.:)
This will sound like a dumb question form a newb. What first-person shooter should I get? I only ever play racing and sports games and want to try a first-person shooter. I have tried to read the reviews but there are sooooooo many, it is difficult to narrow it down. Obviously, I want one that is good but not one that is ridiculously difficult. mwyesq
If you haven't played COD4 (good for MP), you should. Other then that check out: Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, Battlefield Bad Company (good for MP), Turok (fun for a run through), Rainbow Six Vegas series (good for MP) or Condemned series. There's a lot more out there, but use your discretion when choosing, because there's a lot of crap out there as well.
Should I get Fable II?
I've never played an RPG before except for Morrowind, which I used to own and would only explore in. The whole "lead your own life" thing sounds fun, but do you have to deal with complicated stat screens and stuff like that?

No it's not very complicated. It's loads of fun and it'll give you plenty of laughs. I say go for it and try it out. If you buy it used you have 7 days to return it at Gamestop so it'll be a free rent if you don't like it.
I normally don't ask for help in deciding what game to buy but I know by the time I get into it the WOWexp. will be out.
I need some help deciding what game to buy.
There is to many games coming out at the same time.
I am in between four games Fable 2, Spiderman Web of Shadows, Gutair Hero World Tour, or Midnight Club:LA.
Thanks for you time

And, of course, there's Halo...
Revised list: Halo 3, Gears of War 2, BF: Bad Company.
You might not want to get CoD4 at this point, but since it's banned where I live, I don't know how many people still play it (probably enough, though).
Ok Infinite undiscovery is like $30 used at Gamestop currently. I've read reviews and all of that but is it really that bad? Worthy of a purchase or wait until it drops to $20?craigalan23
Bump.
I'm looking for a game that has good swordplay (like the first Genji for PS2) for 360. I already played Dynasty Warriors and found the action extremely repititive, and Eragon spat on the movie that spat on the book.
I need help! I already posted this question, but nobody replied!
[QUOTE="kgansor"]Im going tonight to take advantage of the B2G1 sale at Gamestop. I am going to pick up Dead Space but I am not sure what 2 other games to get. :?mitu123Perfect Dark Zero and Soul Calibur 4?

I have sonic, Uno and a couple others.. im not really interested in Braid since i know thats going to be suggested...
Should i trade in COD 4 for Far Cry 2?crownstar123
No. COD4 is still a hugely popular game, and will continue to have a lot of players even after WaW gets released. On the other hand Far Cry 2 is launching against WaW and Gears 2. I really can't see that many people going to buy FarCry 2 when they will almost certainly be buying one, if not both of the other shooters.
Far Cry 2 might be good, but I suspect it will fall in the category of "other shooters" behind the likes of Halo, Gears and COD.

Assassin's Creed is a good game, though the combat is simplistic and does get repetitive once you are about a third of the way through and learn the counter and combo moves.
Kengo Legend of the 9 is the only other sword game that springs to mind, though I should warn you that it got bad reviews, averaging just 38% on Metacritic.
Fable II or Dead Space?omega_link2
Its hard to choose one since I enjoyed Dead Soace and I have not finished Fable 2 because I have been doing side quests and whatnot. I going to have to say Fable 2 because it you take your time to complete the entire game it will last longer than Dead Space.
You should get both eventually but you should probably get Fable 2 first if you want a longer game and are into RPG's.
Well, my room mate just got a 360. I never really wanted one, but there's one in the apartment now, so I guess I might as well try out some games. What are the ones you guys recommend?
Keep in mind:
- I don't want shooters (though I am getting gears cause it's pretty different).
- No sports games.
- RPGs are cool, but I've played a lot of them lately. I like JRPGs over WRPGs.
Thanks.

Lost odyssey is pretty underrated and a great game. Tales of vesperia is really long that lasts around 60+ hours. Eternal sonata is also a great rpg but kinda short. Eternal sonata and Tales both have playable demos.Viva pinata is pretty good and rather cheap. Look into it because it's really addictive though it is kiddie looking.
im looking for some games with minimal violence, if any. i just destroyed dead space in two weeks and am taking a break but i want something that is not gory and idealy does not involve shooting people. i already own viva pinata, great game. any suggestions?CaptainHarley
Ever try Tales of vesperia,Eternal sonata,or Lost odyssey? They aren't super violent and no shooting.
