is Too Human really that bad like the reviews say?
i want to get it. i loved Diablo and i love hack and slash type games.also how is the co-op? can you still get achievements if you go through the story mode with a friend?

I just rented the game and its fun. I picked it up since I enjoy gearing up and min/maxing stats (plays Wow) and theres a good flow of gear and charms to constantly mess with your appearance and stats. Only problem is the game is very short. I have about 8 hours played and the stats say I'm over 70% done the game.
Wow, October is going to really run a deep hole in my pockets..
Right now I'm going for two games, three if I absolutely cant set my mind on two. Im stuck between Fallout 3, Dead Space, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Far Cry 2, Gears of War 2, Fable II, and Mirror's Edge (I know some of these are future releases, but that's November and thats really not far away so..)
Anyway, I seriously cant make up my mind, and neither can any of my friends.. help?
I got Silent Hill when it came out and it's just awesome. I could have used more of a side story line but still a GREAT game. If you like survival horror's I would definatly pick this one up.
I really want mirror's edge, fable 2, dead space and GOW2, but ill probably only get GOW2 and dead space on release date adn get the others afterwards.
Im looking for an RPG involving loot, levels, NOT TURN BASED, no cheesy anime, and i hate when they yell what attack they perform everytime its incredibly annoying.
Now I bought Oblivion GoY edition, yes i know ppl think its god-like and has much of what i'm looking for but I dont know i couldnt get into it, so i returned it and am using the for Fable 2, hoping that is a good decision.
I've considered Two Worlds although i've read terrible things of lag but i do not play online, so im wondering if that is stil a factor.
Im basically buying time between now Wotlk and/or D3.
PS i dont really dig the new age stuff, i can join the army if i want to do that ( no offense what so ver do not blow that out ) im just looking for some fake magic crap ha. ty in advance
I recently picked up the Oblivion Collectors Edition for about $25.00. I was lucky to get in on the GameStop Buy 2 used get one free deal. But Toys R Us is having the same sale but a with new games next week. I am going to pick up dead Space there.
Mass Effect or Oblivion?wwwyzerdd
Both are good RPGs for the 360 that can entertain you for many hours, so it boils down to what type of setting you want, and what level of action.
Mass Effect is a futuristic RPG set in space that can play in a variety of ways, but is easy to get into for someone that likes shooters. Plenty of action but also a lot of places to explore and characters to interact with if you want to. Very little is forced on you, so you do have a lot of freedom over how you play the game, and the different characters favour different playing styIes.
Oblivion is a more traditional fantasy medieval RPG setting with spells and goblins and quests from taverns. Again you have a lot of freedom to go where you want, exploring a large world with lots of people to interact with and quests to perform.
If you are looking to compare them on length. If you do absolutely everything possible in a single playthrough then Oblivion is the longer game, especially if you get the GOTY edition with the expansion packs included. However I would say that Mass Effect has more appeal for replay as the way you create your character gives a very different way of playing the game.
Both are very good games that can now be bought at bargain prices and will provide a lot of fun. Neither have demos you can try, but the vast majority of people that have played either game would highly recommend them.
I recently posted this as a stand-alone topic, but I thought I'd post here for a bit more feedback:
As you all know very well, this month and the next will see loads of new releases of games. As much as I'd like to get every single one of those games, my budget will only allow me to get three or four of those games, maybe four or five if I'm lucky. So could you guys help me decide which ones to get? I'm currently thinking of Gears of War 2, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, and Fable 2 (and then maybe Rock Band 2 and Saints Row 2 if I get lucky), but I just can't decide. So, any opinions? What are you guys gonna get/what do you think I should get? Btw, here are all the games that I would get if possible, so try and limit your recommendations to the ones I've listed:
Far Cry 2, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Rock Band 2, Gears of War 2, Saints Row 2, Call of Duty: World at War, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, NBA 2K9, NBA LIVE 09, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Spiderman: Web of Shadows.
Some other maybe's include Prince of Persia, Dead Space, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, and Quantum of Solace. So what do you guys think?
Wasup guys, is Castle Crashers a long game? I'm debating if I should buy it or not, I feel like it's a bit overhyped after playing the trial, wasn't too impressed with it. Does it get better after the first level? I need a game to play till gamefly sends me BIA:HH so I was wondering if I should go with this. Does it lag during 4 player co-op?
so i am planning on purchasing a 360 in the coming months...i am completely new to the xbox and plan on going out and purchasing cheap used games for both original and 360 so i have games to play when i have the money to buy the system...with that said do i need a memory card for original xbox games or can they save to the drive as well? and besides halo what are the best original xbox games?
Original Xbox games:
Psychonauts, Fatal Frame
360 games:
Kameo.. only like $12 or less now. REALLY good, kinda on the short side though.
Prey.. its only $8, I believe there is a demo for it on live but for $8 i think its def worth it.
Perfect Dark Zero is only $8 as well.
Just Cause.. its $10, I havent played this game myself but I have heard a few people say it was good.
There are 3 burger king games all for under $1... and for $1 I thought they were worth it.. they were actually pretty enjoyable! especially sneak king!
Viva Pinata, Bullet Witch, Amped 3 are all under $20 and all good games.. a lot of people will disagree with bullet Witch but I thought it was pretty good.
if you want to spend a bit more The Orange Box is around $30 i believe, it has 5 games and they are all long, one is multi player and Portal is just amazing.

Dead Space, first. You should definitely consider getting both eventually; both are great games, especially if you enjoy survival/horror games.

I was thinking of buying Devil May Cry 4 or Ninja Gaiden 2. but since both are similar in a lot of aspects I was wondering which you guys recommend? I dont mind playing hard games that much (as long as it's not THATT hard)
I also look for overall lasting power in a game as well.

I personally thought DMC4 was a better game, but I did not perticularly like either.
When the next 20 or 25% off coupon comes out I plan on picking up a few more cheaper 360 titles and I just wanted a few opinions on them.
Battle Fantasia.. its at $39.99 now so I probably wont pick it up for awhile but I haven't heard anything about it and wanted to see if anyone had played it.
Bladestorm: Hundred Years War..
Crash of the Titans..
Samurai Warriors 2: Empire (or any others if they were better?)..
Spectral Force 3..
Warriors Orochi
I am wondering about Mercs 2, I loved everything about the first one, so do you think I would like Mercs 2?
Are there any major changes in the mechanic, or is it still a: "blow everything up" kinda thing? Panzeram
Don't get it. It's a bad game, and it's such a shame because of the quality of the first one. I would rent it if you really want to play it, but don't buy it at retail price, it's a bugged mess :(
tough choice
I'm already getting saints row 2 today, and gears 2 next month but I'm torn on what else to get. If you could only get one of these games what would it be?
Fallout 3
Fable 2
FaryCry 2
Call of Duty: World at War
Those are some tough choices you got there Josh, but if you did well in Oblivion and are up for another similar type of adventure then I would go for Fallout 3. If you played the first Fable and enjoyed it then I would go for Fable 2. I've never played the other Far Cry games so I don't know what to tell you about that but Far Cry 2 looks superb. As far as CoD:WaW goes, well are you bored of CoD4 and want another CoD game? might as well check it out. To answer your tough question I would probably choose Fable 2 or Far Cry 2 from that list. Only cause I did poorly in Oblivion and already own a CoD game but still wouldn't mind renting World at War to see if I like it then maybe even buy it.tough choice

Hello everyone.
I have been thinking of picking up CoD4, but with the next installment coming out, will there still be enough people playing the multiplayer to make it a worthwhile investment? Something to keep in mind...Im tired of the WW2 scene and prefer the modern war atmosphere, so I have no intention of picking up WaW. Thank you in advance.
HELP! i cant decide what to do. i only want to buy one game and wait for xmas for the rest but both far cry and fallout look great. i really, REALLY want far cry but i also really want the collectors edition of fallout. if i dont get the collectors edition now, i wont be able to later, but i dont want fallout nearly as much as far cry. what do i do?
