Should I Get UT3 ? FPS Games are My Personal Fav :D & I'm a Big Fan & a Big Fan Shouldn't Ask I Guess But I Have My Reasons.

I Heared That The Online Community in This games is dead, is It True ???

I Own both Xbox 360 & PS3, So I Want to Know Which UT3 Version is Better & Why.

And Which Version Should I Get ???

Thx :)

Sporangium

First, don't capitalize the first letter of every word, looks really weird. Secondly, UT3 on PS3 is better as it has modding abilities, but as for the community I have no idea.

stevie- I believe I addressed this issue already, price drops buddy, price drops. Since all you have up in Canada is icec and you like hockey get NHL 09, I hear it's one of the best hockey games ever. Unless you have people to play with locally or plan on playing RB2 online, then don't get it. wait for the game to go down in price and just snag it then.

Are there any good games out there that are $50 or under? I already have CoD4, Burnout Paradise, Ace Conbat, Cod 3, GTA4, Saints Row, and a couple others.

Star Wars: FO, no idea how WOS is going to play out.

Have you seen the videos? This game is actually really good. Free roaming game with pretty awesome combat.

Also has Wolverine ;)

Hi guys, my question is: Should I get Mass Effect?

I've currently got my hands full with Crackdown and Lost Odyssey, but I'm really considering getting Mass Effect with all the hype and the talk about it, however, with all these new games coming out, I don't know if I really want to spend my money on it.

I can get the game for $25 dollars from someone I know, I just don't know if I will be hooked enough to play it (because I know there's a ton of content) all the way through with these other games coming out.

What do you guys think?

25 is a great deal for it, I would say go ahead and get it. You can always beat Mass Effect, then go back to your other games.

So I just bought an xbox 360 and xbox live and was woundering if I should get Rainbow six vegas (1) or GRAW2.

Do they both have active online player modes? I am leaning twards rainbow six vegas but I don't know if it has an active online multi player, same with GRAW2.

Hi guys, my question is: Should I get Mass Effect?Rizzice1

Definitely. I bought it several months ago, but because of other games I only just got round to starting it. It has since totally taken over my gaming and I'm loving it. Lots of places to explore and missions to do - there is a main plot line to follow, but as with most free-roaming games I tend to do loads of side quests first :)

someone answer , Blitz 2 or Far Cry 2 ???yankeesmann45

I'd go for Far Cry 2, but really they are totally different games

I've not played FEAR, but Prey and FNR3 are both good fun.

Prey has an entertaining story that features some great level design using portals and gravity changing to let you walk on walls and ceilings. While it does have multiplayer, that side is almost completely dead. Treat it as a single player game and you'll enjoy it.

FNR3 is a solid boxing game, though needs to played at higher difficulty levels for it to be challenging. On easy you can race through career with simple button mashing. It's once you learn to block and duck & weave that it becomes satisfying beating some of the later fighters. It has online play, though I prefer playing locally against a friend.

Hey guys, I am looking for a fighting game, but I just don't know what to get..

I want something accessible and depth at the same time, but it must be easy to pick up. I also want it to offer some variety in multiplayer mode; I mean something that offers not only the traditional 1v1 fighting, but also some kind of tag team mode that allows me to join forces with a friend of mine and battle against other teams online and offline. The story/singleplayer mode doesn't really matter, as long as it offers easy/medium/hard difficulties and it is somewhat fast in the unlocking process. Regarding online, I want the game to be populated and lag-free (I wonder if DoA4 is still populated, considering it was released a long time ago?)

The ones I found interesting are DoA4, VF5 and SC4. What do you suggest?

Thanks ;)

I'd also go for SC4, even though it the verses mode has only 2 different types (standard or special), the variety of weapons keeps it interesting, plus the graphics and story are really great. Another reason is the "create a soul" option which will give you a few more hours of gameplay. There's probably a lot more features i haven't said too XD ...but cba...

well, I decided to join the microsoft family and bought an xbox 360 (lite). It was a bundle from best buy, and it included, for $399:

Xbox 360 elite system

Forza 2 Motorsport
Forza Motorsport 2 Boxshot

Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Boxshot

I also picked up Tales of Vesperia too.

Tales of Vesperia Boxshot

Anything else I should look into? Old xbox games, etc? I'm into mostly single player games; plus, Im only going online to play games with my PS3(at the moment), so until I get my live set up, are there any long, high replay value action/adventure games out there that i've missed? I know that there are quite a few coming up, and that there is a recommendation thread, but that didn't help me, you (TC) just copied and pasted the discriptions of the games from the respected pages, no offense, but I need a little more input. I've played gears of war, which was fun, but short. Any suggestions? I have about $45 dollars to spend on another game at the moment.

Also, how many of you have fable 2 preordered, it looks promising. I already have far cry 2 preordered (for PS3). Fallout 3 doesnt interest me, the environment/atmosphere is a turn off.

my games for PS3 include(to make suggestions easier):

MGS4
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Madden 09
Madden NFL 09
NHL 09
NHL 09
Civilization Revolution
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution

Im looking for a good single player experience, good, deep story, replay value, good endgame. kinda like mgs. I think I narrowed it down to mass effect for now, unless there are others. For those who have mass effect, how was it? Hows the combat? amount of side missions. etc. what say you?

@jfpime - maybe I'm just rubbish at fighting games, but I didn't find DoA4 that easy to pick up. Even on the easiest difficulty setting the computer regularly beat me. I'm sure I'd get better with a lot of practice, but my initial reaction just made me want to stop playing. It is an old game so the community is likely to be much smaller than the recent SC4.

@rwrden - Mass Effect sound very suitable for you as there is a lot of places to explore and how you build your character impacts regularly on what you can do and how you can complete some of the missions. I'm playing it now and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Since you already have a PS3 I'll suggest another 360 exclusive - Crackdown. A large open-world city for you to explore with a super-agent capable of leaping up the sides of buildings. Lots of action, guns, explosions and racing. Also it has been out a long time so you can find very cheaply (it's in the 4 games for £20 section at Gamestation, so roughly $10 converted I guess).

Oblivion is also worth a look if you like long deep games. It's an action RPG set in a medieval fantasy world. Create your character how you like and go exploring one of the hundreds of side quests, or choose to follow the main plot - it's up to you. If you get into it this game is a huge time-sink that can easily wrack up 100+ hours of play on a single character :)

rwrden- Bioshock, Devil May Cry 4 and R6V1, 1st and 3rd one should be relatively cheap now and DMC4 is one of the best action-adventure games in the generation.

rwrden- Bioshock, Devil May Cry 4 and R6V1, 1st and 3rd one should be relatively cheap now and DMC4 is one of the best action-adventure games in the generation.grafkhun
is there any replay-value to bioshock, also, is it something that can be finished in a weekend?

how is mass effect? what are your thoughts concerning the following:

sidequests - are they repetitive, offer variety, fun to do, etc? how many are there? are they challenging, offer a good break from the main quest?

Combat- pretty self-explanatory, is it fun? how is the AI?

gameplay/story- offer your opinion

replay value- any?

it's about $40 now, still worth it?

Bioshock is so polished, complex and fun that you'll be compeled to replay it. Yes it can be finished in a weekend, almost anygame can be finished in a weekend, a 48 hour time period is a long time. Bioshock will last at least 10 hours, sounds short, but the game is of such high-quality that it's worth every penny.

if you have a ps3, then I would wait for the ps3 port, it has extra content. But if you find the 360 version I highly recommend it, don't let the length of it drive you away, would you rather play a mediocre game that's long or a great engaging game that's only moderate in length?
