[QUOTE="hcho3"]I am not trying to bash GS or anything...
I really trust Gamespot's reviews, but how did GS give 9.0 for this game, and everyone else gave like 7.7 or below?
It's confusing. I will have to wait until see video review from GS.
RockstarChicken
No, not everybody gave it 7.7 or less. My understandingis that most people gave an 8 or higher.
Most people gave it a 9 and a few gave it a 10/10
I just bought the game today and I LOVE IT!!! Its grapics and gameplay are a thumbs up, but the controls are hard to remember.
10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(my dad ruined half of the fun for me because he played about an hour on my profile, and I can't find out how to delete it.)
got a quick question....now it says for the one achievement pick pocket 200 throwing knives....what ppl can I steal these from....do i have to get to a certain part of the game first? anyone?Z-BombzYou'll get those back after you kill enough main guys and the guys you steal them from are people who usually have hoods on and have bags around their backs. Just focus on them, follow them, and hold B to take the knives, though watch out because sometimes they turn around and theyll actually get in a fist fight with you and the guards wont interfere.
Can someone explain the "Diciple of the creed" achievement for me? It says to assassinate an enemy like a true assassian, but i dont know what to do to get it. Anyone that has it, thanks for the help!jchaffYou have to do it with one of the 9 main assassinations. Follow the guys around, I did it with the doctor, and go to your hidden blame in your palm (press up on d pad) and I followed him around for a few minutes and got his rutine (Spelling?) down and when he walked back from a patient I walked a little past him and pressed X and assassinated him. It shows a cutscene after every assassination so after you do it you better bolt from it right after the cutscene because the guards will be right on top of you. It helps to go into the part of town and get the birds eye view of places and help the people so if youre being chased they'll interfere so you can get away afterwords. Hope I helped you

It's also worth noting to try and do this with one of the early assassinations. I'm on the 7th one now, and because I left it so late it's really difficult to manage a stealth kill. Grr!
you can kill pretty much everyone, i accidently assasinated a citizen when i first started playing, killing innocent people takes away from your "health bar" though
Can you just go around killing everyone? Just wondering (and I'm pretty certain the answer will be no). But if not who can you kill, besides the main guys, is it just guards?james28893
You can technically go around killing everyone... Although if you kill too many innocents, the game will end and you'll have to start again. It's also worth noting that constant hack 'n' slashing won't do you much good in the long term. It's often much quicker to sneak around undetected, and if you ARE detected, to go look for a hiding place. Constant battles also increases your chance of death. Templars in particular can be tricky. Whenever possible, go stealth!
sweet game. just killed first 3 targets and im back in damascus looking for someone but nothing ever shows up on the compass. anyone have this problem?Kobewars87Just go into the rich district and look for birds eye view points and side missions and that will help you. You may need to go to the assassination bureau though, but I think you can just go into the Rich District now.

Shade- Blade, the the Assassin's Creed topic thread below which got locked, you said there were 'side assassinations'. What exactly are you talking about, I haven't read anything about those?

yeah I asked the same thing on that topic but it got locked. where can you find them (shade-blade)?
The side assassinations are 60 templars. You dont need to talk to anyone to get them but you just find them and kill themShade-Blade
Oh, I guess I misunderstood what you said on the other topic. I thought you said you got 4 out of 5 of the side mission assassionations. My bad. I think ive got maybe 10 or something. great game btw
i'm still on the fence because i don't want to play it once and never touch it again, how much replay value is there?Halo552
Hey guys, I'm sure it's been said on here that Fry's has AC for $39 bucks but I missed out on what they had in stock. FYI Best Buy does price matching so I printed out an ad from online that advertised that promo, only problem it was a Dallas ad. I cut off the top where it mentioned Dallas and brought it in to the best buy by me (chicago suburbs) and bought 1 for me and another for my buddy! The managers were sketchy but they had to honor it. Sweet! Hope someone here can take advantage of it too!nitroracer82Man, I wish they'd match the price here in Denmark too. :(

ALL SO, you know how everyone complains about his voice.....you know, the main guys because it dosent fit with the time line? well i feel that they did right because i think of it as like his voice carrys over into the simulation thing when he is alteir, you know what i mean? since desmond(hope i spelled it right) is pretty much controlling alteir, its kinda fitting for him to have the same voice.. i dont know, just my opinion, so do you guys dislike his voice as alteir or like?
