The Official Assassin's Creed Thread - *ALL discussion here please*

I cannot wait until I get my 360 from Microsoft after they send me a new one after the red ring thing so I can rent this game. Maybe I will buy it if I really enjoy it. Does anyone else rate this a buy or a rent? I am sure there have been plenty of these questions around, so I am just wondering.d-man-theman

I would buy it, it certainly warrants another playthrough, and its just that good of a game.

Sounds good, but since the last game I bought was Oblivion for the 360, you know I am stingy with my money. Christmas maybe.

Ya Just lock onto the target with the Left Trigger Then equip your Eagle Dagger (press up on the D-Pad) then leap out (Hold the Right Trigger) and as you come near him keep the right trigger held and hit X for the Attack it should tackle him and kill him make sure you are holding down the Right Trigger or it wont be a High Profile attack.Darthcartman85

so the controls for the move "air to assassinate" are LT, RT+ A, RT + X??

I just beat the game, it amazing, there are several weird glitches well 1 i found and only a few other ackward movements. The biggest problem was the ending it was a truely amazing game and a very smart ending im left with a fealing of loss like i missed out on something which makes me wanna get this sequel that is most certainly going to come out, but god it will suck waiting.

I just assassinated the first of nine targets, so far, it's an awesome game. The graphics are awesome, i'm loving the storyline so far, and it's definitely a game where when I finish it, I can come back in a few months and play it again. I'd say it's a 9.4 so far, out of 10 of course.

additional memories is just like stats of your collection of flags and templars.

hey guys umm how do u do that one move its called "air to assassinate" its like if ur on a building and u wanna kill someone below u just jump and assassinate them, i was trying to do it on william in acre but i couldent do it please help

what you wanna do is just target the guy (you dont even have to press LT just make him light up) and then hold right trigger and it should say assassinate in the top left, then just press X.

ALL SO, you know how everyone complains about his voice.....you know, the main guys because it dosent fit with the time line? well i feel that they did right because i think of it as like his voice carrys over into the simulation thing when he is alteir, you know what i mean? since desmond(hope i spelled it right) is pretty much controlling alteir, its kinda fitting for him to have the same voice.. i dont know, just my opinion, so do you guys dislike his voice as alteir or like?

i dont mind altair's voice, even though it is a little unfitting. what i find weird is that i think they used the same face model for desmond and altair. im not a 100% though, i might have to confirm this later.

Another question.....the one achievement require you to see 85% of all memory glitches...how do i know when and where there are memory glitches...I know its during dialogue but how do u notice them?Z-Bombz

the screen goes all flickery n stuff, and you hear a weird noise.

The game ends in a cliffhanger because it's the first in a Trilogy.. and the reason Altair is missing his left ring finger is because when you go from being a Novice to an Assassin you haveto give it up for your secret blade. They have the same Face model because Altair is Desmonds ancestor. It's kinda like how you resemble your parents/grandparents etc.

Now I wait for Mass Effect to woo me.

I bought the Xbox360 and all my other consoles for "the fun factor". I take a game for what it is, pitfalls and all. No game is perfect, but as long as it keep jeeps me entertained and has me interested in playing it from start to finish is a pretty amazing title in my books. Assassians Creed is one such game for me. Although I've just got into the game, I can tell it's going to be one of those games that compells me to play from start to finish.

If this game is the first in a Triology, I can see why the ending of this one is in a cliff hanger. The story will be tied together by the other two games and is setup to compell you you buy those when they are released. I can see myself buying all three, and look forward to it.

It looks to be a 10 in my books and am quite happy with my purchase. ( glitches and all )

Not at all.
I've played more than 10 hours without any sign of framerate issues.

It does have lots of frame tearing, and i even glitched it where it started running at 15fps (around there) and i had to restart the system (maybe an xbox glitch instead of AC glitch) but I find the frame issues arent silky smooth all the time, kind of like the cut scenes on gears of war.

Huge dissapointment. I think IGN was nice in their review. This game is even more repetetive than Halo 3.

It could have been great but they made it really boring. The only part that is fun is the free running.

The battles are the lamest yet in any game. All you have to do is block and then counter. *yawn*

And whats up with the flags? They serve no purpose whatsoever.

Ill give it a 6 out of ten for the nice graphics and the free running

well that is weird i have been having all kinds of frame rate problems..... and my xbox is brand new. so i dont know what the problem is.

im on memory block 4. wen i pause it it just tells me to go to one of the 3 cities and go to the assassins buro of w/e. so i go there and it now tells me i have 0/6 investigations complete. i look on my map and theres nothing. for the past weekend iv been walking aroung trying to find out wat to do and im clueless. i need help on wat to do.
