Yeah I had the same problem. You see those areas blurred out on the map? It says Rich District, Middle District, etc.? Well what you've got to do is head to these areas and climb a view point there. It won't indicate it on the map, but by simply scanning the area and looking for an eagle and a high point you'll be able to find it. Hope I helped.

to add to my previous post, i've figured out im stuck on Talal. Do you have to go to EVERY Bureau every time before you can complete your investigations? I'm looking at the walkthrough on gamespot, and none of the informers or anything are showing on my map. HELP?
i have a question, wat happened to Altair's left finger next to his pinky? was it cut off so he can use his hidden blade better? or is there a small story behind it?
that is custom for all assassin's so they can use it as an assassination tool. every assassin has their left middle finger cut off and replaced with a blade. Now, how do you go about starting Talal's investigation, none of the informers are showing up?!
Get on the rooftops and look for a minerate(high point) that is in an area you've never been to before. Once you find it and synchronize, everything 'el be back to normal and you'll see some objectives.
I don't really remember, Since i've beaten the game and that was many many hours ago, Though what you should do anyway is go to every high point that you can. That is what i did, It was fun and i had no problems with objectives or anything like that.
Ok, is the combo kills in this game just keep pressing X untill you kill the guard? Im trying to get the achievement and Im not sure what the combo kill is. Please Answer fast!
The combo kill is this: You attack the enemy. As soon as your blade hits the enemies blade, Press X again and you will perform a combo. Don't try combo's on the harder guards, They'll kick your arse.
ive located all the viewpoints etc but on my map it doesnt tell me where the guy to pick pocket is located help much appreciated

Well yeah, You're supposed to listen to the guy at the Bureau. He tells you where to go, Like south, west, east, north. Just go south of the Bureau. A lot of times it is south.

I bought my LE copy and love the game but feel cheated by the stuff that came with it. The box is way too big, my Atler figure was broken and the minii stat guide kind of sucks. Has anyone checked out the behind the scenes disk yet? I dont want to ruin the game by watching it, but want to know if it is short or long like the halo ones.

Okay, at the end of the game, Im all alone in the animus room, and I dont know what to do! There are all the crazy writings on the floor, but is the game over??? Or is there anything more to the game after the two scientists leave, or is that the end? Please help!!!!!!

they announced long before the release that AC was a franchise.... so, yes, there will be more AC games in the future (not for a while though, this game took ages to make)
I have read on the AC forums that there were alot of bugs with the game (Major for PS3) heaps of people are complaining that its stuffed, has any of yourgames beenfreezing or has a slower frame rate.
ANYWAYS... do we have to speak with EVERY bureau to move on with each assassination? or will 1 bureau suffice? i dont know what to do? i cant seem to find the guys to investigate the 4th assassination!
No. There are three different Assassinations on each town.First Assassinations on Damascus, second on Acre and thrird on Jerusalem.So you just need to visit the bureau the of specific town you want to start assasinations.
Anyone else who found the game extremely easy? I mean, you can't die, unless you're running away from guards and accidentally jump off the cliffs or into water or the like. Very very unrealistic the way you can either just run away without anyone really trying to stop you or kill 100 guards with the extremely easy combat. Thank god the story was awesome and the graphics and gameplay in all other ways were really great. But seriously though, I thought assassination was supposed to be hard. :(
it seems game are going for the easier method and getting away from the life bars. think about it bioshock you couldnt die. Assassins is the same way. Either they are trying show he is so skilled he is above everyone else or they wanted it more movie based where you play through the story. i love the game but i was hoping for a challenge like hitman but the story definitely has me tied in and the gameplay is fun. i love the game and still would give it a 9.
I know what you mean, but I was more or less expecting a challenge like Hitman and Splinter Cell where you have to stay hidden 99% of the time unless you want to die. Maybe this should've been made by the Splinter Cell team instead of the PoP team.

I keep thinking that AC is boring while playing it, but then I find out that I've been playing it for 4 hours every time I put the game in. Now I'm confused...Why am I playing it for 4 to 5 hours without taking a break when I think that it's boring?

hey guys umm how do u do that one move its called "air to assassinate" its like if ur on a building and u wanna kill someone below u just jump and assassinate them, i was trying to do it on william in acre but i couldent do it please help
Ya Just lock onto the target with the Left Trigger Then equip your Eagle Dagger (press up on the D-Pad) then leap out (Hold the Right Trigger) and as you come near him keep the right trigger held and hit X for the Attack it should tackle him and kill him make sure you are holding down the Right Trigger or it wont be a High Profile attack.
Has anyone had really good luck on finding all the flags for each city? Im an achievement junky and i wanna know exactly how hard and how long it took to get all those 100 flags for each city.
By the way is the Official Game Guide good for showing where all the flags are?
I really enjoyed Assassins Creed it was something i have never seen and it lived up to the hype. The Story was nice, could have been better, but overall it definitely wasnt bad. I didnt like alot of the excessive dialog it seemed to hinder the fast paced style that the game offered. The Camera seemed at points to get lodged in odd places, which in combat got frustrating but that just needed a touch up. BUMS!!! Those damn BUMS!!! I sometimes would really wanna throw my controller! The Bums and drunkards that would push you when you came by were a poor choice in this game, if you want to have someone in the crowd that could hinder you apply a thief or the ruffians could run through the crowd and push you over, but when a bum would come up and push me 7 or 8 times dont remind me when i assassinate him that killing innocent civilians is a bad thing. What was really enjoyable is rooftop free-run, running and leaping from rooftop to rooftop was very very addictive. Combat seemed alittle to relaxed and easy to pull of counters and very easy to get away. The Assassinations themself were pretty cool, and all of the little citizen safes and high top points were pretty cool. Graphics were very impressive, and the gameplay was very very well put together. This game reminds me more of a toned down god of war than a sneak around. But im not complaining it would be nice to have a more stealthier way of doing things for replay value but this game is a must by for any action fan.
I cannot wait until I get my 360 from Microsoft after they send me a new one after the red ring thing so I can rent this game. Maybe I will buy it if I really enjoy it. Does anyone else rate this a buy or a rent? I am sure there have been plenty of these questions around, so I am just wondering.

I did that, and after the credits, I looked at all the emails in all the computers. Is there nothing else to do except use the animus and play as altair some more?
And to get that achievement where you assassinate someone with a full dna bar, does it have to be one of the main targets, or can I just assassinate a guard with a full dna bar and get the achievement?
