It's not a BAD game
But it could have been better.Finished it, which was a surprise as there was one whole area of the map that I or anybody else for that matter was unable to explore. Overall I guess the gameplay was fair. Combat was very ... Read Full Review

Low scores seem unfounded for this game.
If your going into this game thinking it's a deep RPG with branching plot lines, then yes, this will disappoint. If on the other hand you want an action RPG lite in the way of Diablo, then this will appeal to you. Let... Read Full Review

Let's pretend the "Gothic 4" isn't part of the game's title...
I consider myself a very hardcore RPG gamer since I started with the original pencil-and-paper RPGs from AD&D and eventually played some of the early (and ridiculously difficult) PC RPGs. Assuming that Arcania isn't rea... Read Full Review

Ok it's not what you'd expected a Gothic 4 to be, but it's still fun!
I could find a million defects of this one and pinpoint them, but it wouldn't do any good. And that's because, all in all, I had fun! Now what I thought of this game was: they had the budget, but not the concept. first ... Read Full Review

Not worth it...
A total of 10 skins. Disastrous voice acting. Strange battle system. A total of 10 spells. Worthless alchemy. An "open" world in which the path to the next zone is blocked by something extremely stupid or by some idiot w... Read Full Review

A simplistic RPG that will suit the lowest common dominator but enjoyable enough to keep you going until the end.
Gameplay: 5 (plenty of things to do however woefully easy / some nagging bugs) Graphics: 9 Sounds: 8 Value: 8 (large area to explore however too expensive to buy) Tilt: 8 (I enjoyed it regardless of its flaws) Actu... Read Full Review

A throwback RPG that, sadly, is also a step back.
I have tried my best to give ArcaniA: Gothic 4 a fair shot. Unfortunately, Spellbound didn't do the same. PROS: -- Beautiful Environments -- Technically Sound, for the most part -- Accesible systems and combat ... Read Full Review
