It's very weird, but I remember my teacher said black people tend to sabotage their own education for societal acceptance, sort of like overblown peer pressure. She learned it while writing her thesis.Theokhoth

WOW hahaha. Did i read that right? Are you saying the very person that is not only suppose to teach but be an example of morals and respect told you this? I take it there were no other black people around when she said that. lol Hearing that makes me think they don't have a chance if a public official stereotypes them. They are cool people,i know a few. They got their problems just like the rest of us.

To the TC no need to start feeling you are better then others you don't know anything about, that only starts trouble and makes you come off as an racist. =)

The bigger the government the bigger the problem. We only need a certain amount of people to do the work us regular people don't have time to do. It bothers me seeing a whole bunch of over paid suits telling us the economy is doing bad.

Wait, he can't do any of those things and haves trouble speaking in front of crowds? Not only am I afraid of him croaking and handing over CIC to a happy gun toting women who lacks in every way....I'm even more worried about the Bush administration being too friendly with these REP's.

McCain is so full of crap, it amazes me to see how many voters are falling for his act. The desperate act of bring in a woman for obvious reasons is an insult to intelligence. If you don't see what's going on here then i can see why the GOP thinks they can pull what ever they want.... the public is too dumb to notice. Again he is showing the public how out of touch he is, He's constantly putting his foot in is mouth. He is also a Bush guy and no one likes Bush. He offers Phalin the VP, but she managed to put a small populated place like Alaska in debt, how the hell do you put Alaska in debt? Now lets put the country in more debt is what they are telling me. Phalin's husband says he's an Alaskan and hates America... now all of a sudden he has a change of heart, lol. Her daughter's boyfriend is proud to be a "freakin redneck" ( wonder why they made him take down his MYspace page? ) Too much controversy surrounding her kids, her family.....probably wouldn't be if her preached policies work in her home first before trying them on a country. this is not the time for republicans.

McCain is too old and is still going through cancer treatments ( at his age). If he dies the country will truly be failing / phalin and it will be no body to blame but the ones who voted for the wrong reasons. Yes, I voted for Bush and the country and I have paid for it. I will not make that mistake again, I will not be a part of the embarrassment. I'm tired of hearing about all this experience but the experience I've seen or heard of isn't anything impressive. And Rudy Guili needs to sit down and shut up, He did nothing good for NY but put it in more debt and run to the 9/11 scenes for publicity. He wasn't the only one there...he did nothing and still tries to get credit and look like a hero....for what? I can't wait to November so i can stop seeing these Republicans embarrass themselves. I rather not vote at all then vote for Republican again.

I can't say i've never got into an internet argument over forums or such but yes I do respect others opinions. LexLas

There's nothing wrong with opinions being exchanged, I just don't understand the disrespect when people realise their views are not being felt by others.

I think you should change "angry" in the thread title to "serious"... just for lulz.

And people who argue on the internet are just argumentative people freed from the shackles of social correctness by the anonymity of the internet.

Funkyhamster

Perhaps you're right but it sure feels like anger to me. I'm sure you've seen a few topics go from fun to serious to ready to cut your head off too.

Internet debates are fine, it's when it becomes more name-calling, insulting, and flaming when it gets me annoyed.DJ-Lafleur

Yes, you understand
