I was actually considering it till Gears came up on PC.

Everything 360 related eventually ports over to the PC. No point in getting it.

[QUOTE="iLoveGrapedrank"]sony won the format war but microsoft has crushed sony with the netflix deal.. Netflix is a digital movie streaming service which means I don't actually have to buy the movies so yeah sony better come up with something new than saying that they have blu-rayIlived

LOL!

Netflix crushed Sony? I dont think so buddy. Its MS's plan B, HD DVD being their plan A.

Majority of the people wants to have a hard copy of the movie.

If Sony is going to be serious about competition then they will stop any kind of distribution or deals they have to Netflix etc.

Majority? Who the hell are you speaking for? No way in hell are there as many people out there who buy dvds as there are who rent them. Netflix has millions of subscribers.

You obviously dont own a ps3.

You can EITHER download a movie through PSN or have it streamed.

You have 24hrs to watch the movie as many times as you want once you select a rental.

This by far beats any store rentals. I'd rather sit in at the comfort of my home instead of actually going to the store.

ATi and Nvidia go in cycles.

3 years ago ATI destroyed Nvidia so hardcore nobody thought they had a chance of surviving.

Fast forward to a year ago Nvidia was doing the decimating.

Now ATI looks to be coming on strong once again, with Nvidia not only having worse cards but far more driver issues and some severe die problems causing hundreds of millions in losses.

They go in cycles.

What the hell are you talking about man?

ATI was ALWAYS 2nd place. Nvidia is and has been dominating the market since it's day-view.

When was the last time you saw a logo on a game that says "ATI the way it's meant to be"? And even today with ATI's supposed cost-worthy 4870, the card overheats, is a hog on power consumption and actually works slower in CFX compared to 2 "inferior" 260 GTX SLI.

NOT true... When the 1900 series came out they were the most powerfull gpu's...I remember because they were the only ones to play oblivion on high at descent frame rate...

When ATI starts having games with their names on it, call me.

Best and easiest way to end this discussion is as followed:

Sony and Nintendo - Japanese.

Microsoft - American.

For some reason I'm far from being surprised that the 360 is doing it's best in America while PS3 in Japan.
