Did you ever play the older games? You could select your team of specialists, select their gear, split them down into squads and then plan out their entire course for the mission. being able to give a couple of generic characters real time movement orders doesn't really compare with planning and executing a flawless multiple-point room breach.

Those were truely the golden days of tom clancy games. I was thinking the same thing but i figured they changed the game because ppl where complaining. If you were really good you could plan out the whole mission perfectly, and watch the two teams clean out the level. That was amazing, and in ghost recon if u made sure your guys survived the entire level you could up grade their stats, and if a guy was killed he was gone forvever.

I was wondering how much improvement there would be. If an upgrade where to take place it would be in maybe a year so the price would probably be low. Its pretty much as high as my mobo allows. methree15

I made that exact same switch and there is definitely a vey noticable difference. Windows starts up faster, documents open in a snap, games run smoother. The only down size is that the processor gets really hot, im using a Zalman 9500 and the idle temp is 43 C, while gaming it goes up to about 52 C. I wish AMD made smaller die chips.

PC gaming can be frustrating if you don't know what your doing, with consoles it kind of a set it and forget it thing. if you want to play a game just put in the disc, patches are done semi automatically, and no need to fool around with game visual settings.

PC gaming is great if your a technical person that enjoys tinkering, super cheap games (see target clearance section), and amazing visuals. And most importantly be realistic with your gaming rig's performance. p.s Vista is terrible for gaming, i can't even get F.E.A.R gold edtion to install and play on it.

it was pretty descent, the graphics were amazing as usual, ant it really made you want to keep playing. hopefully they come out with the sequel in under a year, i bet they already had half of it done before releasing the original. they don't need a graphical upgrade, all they need is to optimize the damn game.

Considering your not overclocking, I wouldn't say the Turniq 120, or any of the similar high end models. I'd say one of them good ole' Zalman ball coolers would do. Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 is also widly acclaimed.

BE WARNED! WARNING: I remember that one of the Zalman ball models had a certain design flaws and was actually worse than the stock cooler. I'm not entirly sure if the one below is, or is not that model, so be sure to double check. But I'm pretty sure that I have the right one.

I have a zalman 9500 on an AMD 6400+ X2 stock clock, Arctic Sliver 5 with the case side door open, and im still getting a temp of 44 C idle and around 60 C in games what the hell, i paid money for a Zalman so my temps would go down not up. Im using ASUS prob because that is what ive always used for consitency sake. what sould i do? please help
