yeah the game has terrible optimzation, it is not your system, i noticed this because when i had to replay a certain part of the game over and over again, it would always lag in the same way, at the exact same hallway, not during intese firefights.

hmm sounds like either a corrupt game file, or grapics card problem. Try updating the game to the lates version, turnning up the voltage on ur ram, this use to happen to me when my ram was at 1.8, turned it up to 1.9 an no lock ups ever. I just beat Vegas with a similar system as urs, minus the 4 gb of memory, only had 2. These are just suggestions to get u started.

I was wondering the easiest way to extract clear crisp audio files from kane and lynch on the PC. I tried using fraps but it slows down the game including the speech. I tried going to the files on CD and on HDD but couldn't find the files.

Im looking for the dialogue outside the Tokyo night club inparticular. I want to use it on a song that im working on, obviously i don't plan to profit off it, ill release it for free.

no way does fraps slow down performance by 10fps, maybe 1 to 5fps but not upto 15. why does fraps video recording slow down the game so much, that's what i want to know.

i think the is a pretty common problem with logitech G7 contact logitech customer support , and u might get a replacement G9 because the G7 was discontinued for this and a multitude of other problems. I have a G7 and so far so good, only 6 months though, a few signal losses/ cut offs about 5 but i like wirless mice.

this makes sense because my heatsink slides pretty easily over my cpu, and maybe when i was searching for the a second 6 pin connector i might have moved it. i went from a 8800 GTS 512mb, to a GTX, i just like more AA and AF on my games and the G92 gts takes a huge hit when these setting are turned up.

I did apply a small drop last time but with more fans, a better heat sink and artic silver 5, i though i would get better temps than i did with my OCed 4400+ X2. is alcohol fine, or do u recommend the official arctic silver 5 remover which is probably just alcohol anyways.

Did u remove the heat sink from the cpu u and put it back? if yes try to remove it back and clean the bottom of the heat sink with alcohol and the cpu. and remember to put terminal gel.AwA-soldier

No i didn't remove the heat sink, when i first installed it about 3 months ago the temps were about 34 C which i was impressed by, but temps have steadyly gone up. I think on a later date ill try to remove the heatsink, clean it with alcohol and reapply my arctic silver 5 more generously than i did before. What kind/ percentage of Alcohol should i use.

My cpu temp seems to be rising for no reason, today i opened my case to fix the side fan that came unplugged temp was reading about 44 C from 38 C when it was working. Fixed the fan, rebooted my computer, now temp is reading 52 C, what the hell is going on? I have a zalman 9500 which i bought to address temp problem i knew i would have on my AMD 6400+ X2 but this is getting rediculous.

I have Mid tower with three fans, front intake, side intake and rear exhaust, and this is still happening, plus this is after i cleaned the dust out my computer to install my new 8800 GTX. please help. Using asus probe to measure temp just because that is what i have always been using, sticking with it helps me keep consistency. by the way this is the last asus motherboard i buy. i think nvidia or gigabyte from now on.

i don't know how hard making good AI is either but i know that is definitely one of the biggest letdowns in this generations of games, the graphics sound, and gameplay are impressive but AI is still ify. It's like AI still has to cheat like back in the SNES days to even stand a chance. that being said FEAR and Crysis have really good AI.
