Have u heard of the Splinter cell series? i hear they are quite good. don't go to far back in the series or the graphics get way to ugly.

u can't because the evga warranties are non trasferable, and products bought on ebay do not qualify for the step up program. but don't worry as evga cards last a while. u could get the akimbo cooler i heard that works well fo the 8800GT.

yeah this used to happen to me when i was playing DX9 on vista, i switched to DX10, and patched the game v 1.1 and i was able to complete the game without this ever occuring again. i used to happen either as i got to checkpoint or just after i quick saved, and the save file was always currupt, small 15kb file.

same thing happened to me with an AMD 6400+ 3.2 ghz, no OC, and a zalman 9500. I think the big thing that made my temps rise is when i put in my video card, 8800 GTS 512mb, and when i finally closed my case the temps sky rocketed from about a 34 C to 40 C. goes up to 53 C while gaming, and over an extened period of time it actually heats up my room. I think the air flow in my case is bad, plus this is a 90nm processor so higher temps are expected. i just wonder how high my temps would be if i were using a stock heatsink.

Well i tried 800/1050/1960 for 2 hours in crysis very high and thought id cracked it.... until BSOD!

No problems in 3dmark06 etc at those clocks so make sure u all play a few hours of crysis before you tell yourself your overclock is secure!

Yeap you are totally right, same thing happened to me worked through 3d mark, and crashed in games, crysis, kane and lynch. i had to turn it down to 750/1900/1015. using nvidia driver 169.32. hopefully when they come out with better drivers, i can push the card a little more, just for fun, not really about real in game performance.
