The whole idea of gay pride is to have pride in being gay TO be proud of your sexuality whether it be LGB or T. Its the only day the gay community has to really show the world that they are here and are proud of their sexuality.
I think its a fantastic even't, more power to them.
The main point is that there is nothing so special about being gay that there needs to be such a spectacle made out of it. Why can't they just show that they're not ashamed of their sexuality all the time?Because no one desciminates against straights, so there is no need for it...Darth-CaedusI disagree. I hear gays complain about how stupid straight people are from time to time. They hold a grudge for being picked on in the past, and in turn are hating straight people, just for being straight. They do it out of spite. I've witnessed it personally.

But I want to be able to contribute to the discussion years from now when people are like, "hey remember Vista?"
Is it really that important to you? :?What's so special about being gay that they get their own parades and festivals? What's with gay pride? Singling out homosexuality and celebrating it specifically, makes it seem like it's some wonderful thing that needs to be cherished. It's just another lifestyle. Nothing special.
I haven othing against gay people at all, it's just that you don't see straight people marching around talking about how great it is to be straight. Straight people don't have any special weekends with parades and festivals. Why not? Would it be considered hateful towards gays? Well, isn't suggesting that straight people shouldn't celebrate their heterosexuality, hateful in itself? Are the straight people now the group being oppressed, just so the gays can have their time in the spotlight? What's the deal?
If MS releases it's next OS before I finally upgrade to Vista, I will hate myself.
And Microsoft. And the world, for that matter.
Why? It would just save you the trouble of downgrading to Vista. :?Yeah, but I want the experience of having Vista, so I can look back and go all nostalgic about it later.
