Crysis is overrated for sure. Sure the Graphics are the best in a FPS ever but that's about the only thing great in Crysis. Not the Story, gameplay, or the A.I.

I highly beg to differ. I actually cared more about the game play in Crysis than the Graphics. They were just a nice plus to it. I can without a doubt say that it was my best fps experience ever (as far as game play goes. Ya I know the story does kinda suck.)

And the AI is MORE than fine. People are just outlining their weird problems they had with it that I have never encountered.

Secondly, I find it comical that every single thread you've made since the beginning of the time you registered your name is the exact same. "Crysis has the greatest graphics of any game yet."

The biggest issue I have with Crysis is that not even would a $4000-5000 custom gaming rig power the game on the highest possible settings with a steady 60FPS. I'll gladly pay my $350 to have a 360 that is going to last me at least another 3-4 years with every game coming out and not having to worry about upgrading.

No the thing is that you can buy the best parts for about 2000$ (big max), but people will have to get the gforce 9 series to play in completely maxed out at 60 fps. There is absolutely no use to buying a 4000$ computer right now. It will make no difference.

if that was a small scale map those graphics would be done on xbox no problem(xbox 1)

I lot of reviewers marked the game down because they didn't have the rigs to run it. Or they were bitter that the rigs they have at home couldn't run it well either.

Personally I have no problem with the hardware requirements for Crysis, yes they are high but its good to see PC gaming pushed forward.

Crysis crushesthe current consoles in all technical areas, its a benchmark game. not just for graphics but for physics, AI, sound, gameplayand presentation.

While I do agree that not all Reviewers are gonna hate on Crysis because they have a problems with the specs, I have read a lot of reviews putting it as a negative points and talking a lot about it. I'm pretty sure that brought down the score a notch on some websites.

If I remember my maths correctly 35 fps > 30 fps.

What do you thin kthey demo Crysis on right now? An unreleased card? The devs have stated that an 8800 maxes it out, res and all.

A 8600 should almost max it out. Maybe tone down the AA and AF to 4x-6x instead of 16x :P
