People dont want to have to upgrade their graphics card after a year because they cant play the game on very high settings anymore. lol everyone is obsessed with graphics these days but you dont see titles like final fantasy and metal gear solid and mario titles on pc's. you see a lot of WOW, ffxi, supreme commander etc titles but it's the "Big 3" that makes the pc. shooters, RTS, and MMo's. it needs more high profile titles to appear to be more popular. I mostly just see a lot of great console games these days and sadly the 360 takes a lot of the thunder away from PC. If games like Bioshock, UT3, and Oblivion were exclusive to PC I would be praising it right now but it's losing some of its big guns and it makes it less unique than it should be.unknowndrk

UT3 isn't even coming out on consoles this year.........have fun playing a game in 08 that I played in 07 (sounds familiar, right lemmings?). The Witcher wasn't that great? It got a 8.5 from GS, and was said to be one of the best RPG's to come out in a long, long time........but no, it isn't that great. What other good WRPG's does the 360 have besides ME? You do realize that Crysis on medium looks better than any console gaming out their, right?

Mass Effect is hyped AAA, while the Witcher was only hyped AA. Go to the hype thread bud...........The Witcher, in no way flopped. And yes, Crysis on medium looks amazing. Better than anything on consoles and features a massive enviroment with the best physics to date. I'll ask you again, what other WRPG does the 360 have besides ME? Nothing it seems. What's the 360 getting in 08? Nothing it seems. The PC is getting big titles like Far Cry 2, SC2, Dragon Age (Biowares next PC RPG), BF3, STALKER:Clear Skies, Project Offset (maybe in 09, don't know for sure) and many others I'm forgetting to mention. The 360 has.......Banjo3? Exciting.......

Not to mention multiplats like Alan Wake (which the PC is the lead platform for) are better on the PC........

You're comparing 3 consoles vs the PC. You fail.

I play Crysis on Very High setting, my fps is 25-30. Hermits are right it is still playable, but not very pleasing. I agree 25fps is not acceptable. I have an BFG 8800 GT OC card. I expect better fps once the retail ver arrives.Gnr_Helsing

I've been playing CS 1.6, Source and many other FPS for years at like 60-100 fps. I've played the demo of Crysis at 25 fps and its MORE than acceptable. You're all just a bunch of big crybabies.

I officially am waiting for this game to be optimized correctly. I dont want to be a blind hermit and be a beta tester for 55 bucks. The game will probably a good product in March. Maybe then I will get the promise that Crytek said and that was VERY HIGH on a 8800 GTS hahahahahahaha at 30 FPS. I know Optimization, enjoy beta testing, ill enjoy Mass Effect with the best storyline ever in a game while you do that grunt work.Reyes360

Dude. When Mass Effect comes out you'll probably spend more time on System Wars dissing Crysis some more than actually playing Mass Effect.

I expected more too. Don't get me wrong, it easily had the best graphics I've seen to date on my 24" 1920x1200 and seems to be extremely open ended. The problem is that hermits have hyped this game to heaven and back for so long that I just wanted to be absolutely blown away by it! I wasn't.

When I played the HL2 demo for the first time years ago... I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! Having completed the demo several times, I can confirm this didn't even have half the impact as HL did on me. But maybe it's just me.

I guess I'll have to wait for Dragon Age or Alan Wake to completely fry my new hardware in my rig, and my mind.

Whatever dude. Crysis is probably my most anticipated game and my pick as GOTY along with Mass Effect, so praise it all you want. I know full well how great-looking Crysis is, I'm simply pointing out a game that I believe *may* dethrone it as graphics king. You said yourself a few posts up that there are only a few pics and videos of Project Offset, yet you've written it off already despite how obviously early it is.

Like I said, those pics did not impress me at all. I'm just saying that judging by THOSE screenshots you posted if it stays like that there's no chance it'll beat Crysis. They're gonna have to show me a lot better.
