@Alexk91 @675T I think AC3 was bit a letdown, and I don't understand why they couldn't make side-missions more interesting! Even AC: Revelations had some great main missions and amazing side mission, apart from tower defense part of it!
Considering the increasing cost of AAA games, publishers have two options in order to compensate for that: 1) adding more and more micro-transactions and DLCs, or 2) block used game, something that has been working for likes of Valve for a long time. Honestly, I am more comfortable with the latter.
@deth420 @olegavi323 @675T @Savoritias @Supabul I just think this black versus white world view is a bit outdated! I think EA has done terrible business decisions but that's not because they are "evil"; that's because they couldn't make a sound business decision. And corporations are different from small businesses in that they have an intricate and complex hierarchy and compartmentalization, and it makes it harder and harder for outsiders to morally judge this system!
@olegavi323 @Supabul I am against day one dlc, but not against dlc in general; I think there is a way to do it right; L.A. Noire had some amazing dlcs and I gladly paid for them, but ME3 day one dlc was a bad idea!
@Savoritias @olegavi323 @675T @Supabul Rocksatr is not a publisher! CD project red has published two games! EA is such a juggernaut that it's hard to compare to small studies or other publishers! I am pretty sure that they made bad business decisions, but that doesn't make you "evil"!
