I used to watch GS news daily but got away from it for awhile. I watched June 3rd and 4th edition and something seems a little different. Jess seems less energetic (or maybe her voice sounds a little deeper). Nothing major, I still enjoy the show, just something I noticed.
@jameston80 @kingcrimson24 Jameston, I agree with what you're saying. Sony certainly had an advantage presenting 8 hours after MS. However, I think we need to be excited about what Sony chose to do with that advantage.
Sony very well could have said, "Well, they gamers don't seem to like it. But if we follow suit, they'll be forced to get used to it." How do you think microtransactions became so commonplace?
I praise Sony for choosing to be competitive by offering me a legitimate alternative as opposed to clinging to bad policies and relying on my love for gaming to force me to overlook the restrictions.
I could care less about the number KVA gave it. After reading the review, I think this is a game that will entertain me. I just don't know which version to get.
I have a 4th gen i5, GTX 770, 12 GBs ram. I don't currently have a next-gen console, but will get one (more than likely both) at some point. Should I get the PC version or console? Does PC version work with X360 controller?
I'm not going to complain about the review score and how it compared to the review itself. However, I think a single number to represent the complexity of the art form that is video games is not realistic. I would really like to see more of a rubric with multiple scores for multiple aspects of a game. Some of the categories could be:
Graphics
Art style
Music
Gameplay
SP
MP
Voice acting
Story
This way, a person who values one category over another can get a good idea of whether or not he/she would like a particular game. For example, as a mostly SP gamer myself, I can't stand watching CoDs get crazy high scores when I know if you rated the SP portion, it would get a 5-6 tops for its brevity.
