@07jonesj You're probably right that the LGBT community is treated with equality at E3 and PAX. However, the discrimination is still very strong. Have you ever played Battlefield 3 multiplayer? When a player wants to trash another player, very often sexual slurs are used. It's events like this that will bring awareness to those that use that kind of language.
That being said, those that don't see the point of this are probably those who are already above that kind of discrimination. If that's you, then kudos. I'm just saying not everyone sees it that way.
I understand that. But a clip of the next BF3 DLC is likely to have viewers, like me, who would like to learn more about it. As such, I would expect the people in the clip to be focusing on the audience, not so much each other. Furthermore, if this was meant to truly be a conversation, it just didn't seem very natural. Just watch the clip at the beginning and during the spawn camping discussion and look how often you interrupted Aaron.
This was not meant to be an attack, but just constructive feedback. That being said, I will say that the "Tanks but no tanks" line was awesome. Well played there!
Something about this whole segment was off. At first, I thought Aaron worked for EA, based on the way Shaun was 'interviewing' him. In that first moment, I was thinking to myself, "Let the man speak Shaun!". Then I rewound the clip and realized that Aaron works for Gamespot, but it still seemed like Aaron had the knowledge and Shaun was interviewing him. If that's true, then Shaun still needed to let Aaron speak. Is Shaun a raging egomaniac? I wouldn't think so, but who knows?
I can't exactly put my finger on it, but this particular clip seems a little unprofessional.
Maybe this compilation will finally include the Blades of Chaos in the box with the included kit to fuse the chains to your arms. Then I'll never have to get out my lawnmower again. I'll just go out to the yard and start swinging!
I think the term "success" when referring to the Wii is somewhat relative. Based on sales, yes, it was a success. However, if you could measure the collective number of hours spent gaming, I bet the traditional gaming box (either Xbox or PS) would dominate.
In other words, for a lot of people, the Wii is a like a treadmill: a lot of people have one, but few people use it.
I, for one, love the Premium expansion pack, especially CQ (so far). I lot of people said it's a COD clone, but I think it offers up something for gamers who were gamers long before COD was around. I remember playing the mess out of Quake back in the day and still have fond memories of it. In my opinion, CQ throws me back to those days and I couldn't be happier.
