Not seen / heard any news / rumours to the effect that any kind of exp pack is coming out anytime soon. Iirc the game didn't do so well for lionhead (along with B+W2) so the expansion pack was released as a TY to fans. If it had sold better then yes there would be more exp packs...Always worth checking out the lionhead website / forums tho for official announcments etc :)
So I recently picked up Anachronox - not having known anything about it but being into RPG/adventure games.
Â
Now yes its old, yes the graphics are dated and yes its simplistic. But i am really really enjoying it. Has a very good sense of humour (especially the scene when they are stuck on the space ship) - great characters PAL and Boots anyone!!!
Â
Only about halfway through but was wondering if anyone else had played this and ejoyed it - or if there were any other games that werent really well known but enjoyable

Cheers

The best Action / Adventure game you can get for humour is Giant Citizen Kabuto (if u can still find it anywhere). Teh cut scenes were hilarious and the gameplay was pretty good :)
Personally what I really like to see is the strategy that they're taking with Ace Combat. Make one game, then make the other. Maximize both platforms versions. No direct porting.Â

Here her I concur :)
I'd prefer to see different versions for different platforms. Ports aren't always a bad thing but it's nice to see something new.
Am I the only one disappointed to hear that the new Final Fantasy will be an action rpg instead of the traditional turn based? I personally enjoy the classic turn based strategy aspect of RPGs and call me crazy but I even enjoy the random encounters.mdbuchman
LOL ur Crazy!
Seriously tho I didn't mind the random encounters too much, in fact it;s a way of making sure u don't play for any great length of time hehe! But SE tend to mess with teh battel system every single game and I just wish they'd split the series into Realtime / Turn based - or include a switch as mandatory for the preferred choice of the gamer.
IIRC Sony lost the lawsuit...forked out huge amounts of cash...but they still have the option (for more cash)...should they wish to pursue rumble again.
As I mentioned in another thread on this subject...The unit (sixaxis) has loads of space for rumble hardware in the handles but I suspect that it is now more than just Sony getting their fingers burnt by the lawsuit...ie pride...it's now a matter of motion sensing and if ur shooting npc's and the controller is rumbling away don't you think the motion sensor would go a bit loopy?
Ade.
ps - BRING BACK RUMBLE PLZ SONY?!?!?!? I miss it :(
