Yeah I see what you mean, if you ask me, Pokemon is basically Japan's own version of SpongeBob, sure, they may not share any similarities whatsoever, but the way both of those shows get milked and continue on for so long with so many new episodes with a lot featuring villains like Team Rocket and Plankton I find to be similar. Toph_Girl250

Atleast Spongebob's humor is great for all. Especially the first few seasons. CHOOOOOOOOOCLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Pokemon and Yugioh were ones that used to be good, but over time all the good ideas ran out and they became stale.Toph_Girl250

Those two were never really good nor are they suitable for adults to watch without cringing, IMO. The Animes are mostly targeted at kids even in Japan. They're a Marketing device to expose the games to the general public's awareness and/or target market.

... though of course if youtube wins, Facebook and Zynga I think make a close second. Toph_Girl250

Facebook is not as bad. And that's mostly thanks to the fact of how most users have their real names plastered on their accounts. While YouTube is purely annonymous. Or built on anonimity(spell check?), rather.

Though i prefer you read the manga of Fairy Tail.FMAB_GTO

With any Anime that's based on a Manga, the Manga is always better in story-telling and overall closure when it ends. I like Bakuman's Anime because it took the Manga's series created by the fictional Mangakas in the story and fleshed them out with Audio cues. It's interesting to see. Though the Manga's story pacing is/was better.

Other than that, I always prefer Manga.

[QUOTE="GreekGameManiac"]

[QUOTE="Dudersaper"]I couldn't agree more with this statement. That said, I don't find PS3/360/Modern PC graphics unbareable, and I do like them, but yeah, reality is definetly not on the top of my priorities when it comes to games. I'd say the only graphics I can't stand are the original Gameboy's, I like Tetris on it, but that's in, anything else feels very very unnappealing. Dudersaper

Naturally,i completely disagree with you guys.

You disagree with everything, I'm not surprised.

Don't mind him. Kid's got issues. He's always mean on his replies. Can't take opinions that differ from his own, apparently. Maybe he just likes to be like that online.

However, he does create some good discussion threads most of the time. So take the thread seriously, but not his replies.

If you something down to Earth, realistic, and not typical DBZ~ish and fantasy aka Shonen-type. Try Bakuman.

I mostly can't stand archaic game mechanics. Like very old RPGs or 8-bit graphic novel games. That's because I look for games with artisticly unique design or good stories nowadays. Unless it's an established series I grew up with.

If I had to bite the bullet. I'd say 8-bit graphics and below. I can stomach 32-bit era stuff so long as it's not archaic mechanically (e.g. Tomb Raider) or too difficult to invest major time on. I mostly ignore games that are all about gameplay (e.g. Animal Crossing, Tetris sequels, Cellphone games) except sports. I miss being a kid sometimes lol.

Youtube. If you wanna get depressed:

1. Open Youtube video discussing any given country's politics.

2. Read top comments.

For the rest, full of people who love to troll and the ignorant who take the bait.

He's the ZSNES coder guy, right? Probably having a financial issue and figured he'd bait gullible buyers with the price tag. Or maybe, given all the offers he's rejected until now, he wants 25k for something specific to invest in. Or maybe he calculated all the cost that was attached to his individual purchases and wants to break even. Good luck with that.

I still have my SNES game carts. About 18-20 games total. I thought of keeping them for nostalgia's sake but with each passing year I feel like I'd be better off selling them with the console (which still works). Been stuffed in the closet for over a decade.
