I see this as EA wanting to get Greg and Ray to do it's bidding, but they wouldn't stand for it, so they decided to leave the company... better to follow your passion if the studio you created was no longer sharing your vision
@Dirty_11 turning a hobby into a full-time job usually makes you enjoy what you do out of passion a lot less... the ideal situation is for you to have time to dedicate to your hobby, but get money from a different source to sustain yourself and that hobby
@dodgingbullet yeah... the price would be a real problem with those specs, at least at launch (MS and Sony will likely sell with a very low margin and count on the games to bring-in revenue), after they sell enough units, the production costs should go down steadily and it will allow them to make some good money (console prices don't change over time, and I think they'll want to keep them alive long enough to recover the low margins they had on release day)
this would be a great win for AMD and they'd deserve it... I wanna see them gaining on intel and continuing to make innovations without the constant fear of what the next CPU or GPU launch will bring. I also like the idea of game devs using the same tools for designing their games
trailer looks great....but 3 factions fighting for supremacy based on their class? how come? you don't have a class in this universe... you just use whatever type of skill you like and your hero becomes a universal destruction powerhouse, but that's it
