I think Nintendo is trying a little to change that. For the Wii U, Nintendo is publishing 4 games : Project P-100, Lego City Undercover, NintendoLand and Sing. Those are the new IP's that we've heard, they might have something else. If we count just those 4 titles, that's already more new IP's than at any year during the Wii cycle. I'm really hoping this isn't just a launch thing and that they maintain this rhythm, but what I really want to see is a new IP developed by Nintendo (besides NintendoLand). That would make excited.
Great show!!! You sure got a lot of games to talk about in this show: Resident Evil, Deus Ex, Mass Effect (although that was already covered in Start Select) and many more. Btw, I don't mean to sound too exigent, but is this show gonna be frequent ( monthly, bi-monthly, weekly) or will it be irregular? Great show anyways.
@Darth_Nater307 Kirby, Metroid, Donkey Kong and Mario in the same year ( there was Monster Hunter Tri too, although it is from Capcom. 2010 was a great year for the Wii.
I don't think we'll move away from DLC, but the gamers won't accept them like they used to. Companies will have to start creating DLC that are worth buying.
@iandavidvinoya @Nathalmighty1 They don't make an online component because Monster Hunter is created with the japanese in mind, and they don't care about playing online, they prefer to play regular multiplayer.
The industry is branching out, and that's good for everybody. We get more games and the companies make more money, which can be used for those triple A console titles, in case of a company like Epic.
