In Gears of War live was horrible, when compared to Steam it all seems so primitive, hopefully MS would change its implemintation. I just don't see how gaming companies like Nvidia, who you would think know about the PC market, could support it in its current form, because so far Live is just a lousy console port.Nikalai_88

IMO Windows Live is a good idea gone bad when they tryed to charge people for it. A unified online service would do good but lack of dedicated servers isn't good in PCs.

MS should really make an OS just for Gaming. If they are serious about making PC gaming better then they should do that.

PS3_3DO

While I would buy something like that if it worked, what would that mean? An OS for gaming?

A strip down version that would allow you to play games only no Photo or video editing, etc. Kind like the OS in the 360.

That would simply be a reconfiguration (a profile if you want) of the StartUp and Services. This could simply be done through an optional update so you can have a menu that switches from one profile to another (although i would want a default setting since my computer has a schedule of it's own)

[QUOTE="Supafly1"]Another AAA but another RTS. PC has just too many of those.Supafly1

like others mentioned before calling this game a RTS is like calling Hellgate London a FPS.

How so? And Hellgate London is part FPS.

It's precisely like you said it. "Hellgate london is part FPS", just like Sins is part RTS. But both games have stronger focus on a different genre, for Sins that is 4X. Which means that people who liked games like Gal Civs 2 will feel better at home than people who liked Starcraft.

So you're basically saying that this game is like Civ 4 which is Turn based RTS game. It's still a game where it resembles an RTS game. I know that we don't have a lot of turn based space RTS games but RTS is basically the only thing I'm seeing on the PC at the moment. I'm not that big fan of this genre, I do like games like Dawn of War or Warcraft III but I was hoping to see some other games. Consoles seem to get a lot more variety than PC's do.

How can you have a Turn Based RTS? Is it turn based or real time? Way to generalize.

Uncharted is part platformer, Mass Effect is part Third Person Shooter.

Generalization based on only one feature = big no no

I go with the Nanosuit, i just wish it didn't have those lights attached to it.

Wearing a metal suit like Master Chief really dosen't help with camouflage in combat. He might as well hold a picket sign with the words "Shoot me".

I Need a new computer:cry:

there is no way I will ever run this.

MechaDragon92

The game is made so it can run even on a Radeon 9800 so it's not that demanding.

When you will have a world the size of the one in Flight Simulator X, with the graphical detail of at least Crysis on High and gameplay freedom like GTA then you can really ask the question "Where do we go from here?".

Until then, gaming is only in it's adolescence.

About the fact that you can't max out Crysis yet: in past years there were a lot of games you couldn't max out, that's why they were good, they were raising the bar for how future games should look and were pushing hardware manufacturers to make better and faster products.

Now, with this gen of consoles, graphic development is at a standstill.
