Piracy is usually noticed in underdeveloped countries. Many Asian states are going though an economic boom right now so people start migrating.
People wanted games but had other priorities. But now that those priorities can be met they can allocate a bigger budget for hobbies (gaming is a pretty expensive hobby after all).
Times change, countries evolve, economy progresses. Why not use some money to have fun?

HE MAKES ENGINES. NOT GAMES. ENGINES.
What is with people thinking hes a game designer.
That's why his word has more leverage. He makes graphics engines. He is the one who has to know the raw power of the devices.
What would a game designer know about raw processing power? What a game designer does is come up with a "hey, that would be a cool game" idea and tell the people in his team what he wants it to look and play like.
[QUOTE="Ramadear"][QUOTE="Wartzay"][QUOTE="MojondeVACA"]Of course and it will look better on PC..The framework engine is more PC engine than console engine.Polaris_choice
judging by the PC port of RE4, RE5 on PC could be horrible
Capcom didn't port RE4, some other company did. Capcom however did port Lost Planet/Colonies and DMC4. Which are both quality ports.
LOL DMC4 isnt even out on pc yet. And lost Planet sucked on pc. It had tons of bugs and unless you had at least a 8800gt it didnt run anywhere as near as good as its console counterparts. RE are alwasy best on consoles as all capcom games are. Capcom will always be primarly a console developer.
What are you talking about? i played it on a 6600GT, an AMD 64 3000+ and 1 GB RAM and it ran fine
