where do you think assassins creed 2 will take place. i have heard rumours that the next in the franchise is samurai times a bit like tenchu, but personally i would like it to feature desmond from the first in a modern version, like hitman but more agile and free. It will take place in my trash can, along with Eye of Judgement.
I could care less if gamespot gives mgs4 a crappy score. I go to metacritic and gamerankings to get the real score. those sites give you a pretty good indication as to how good a game is. Biased sites like gamespot are a blip on the radar. Sometimes gamespot has an on average higher score than most, and a lot of times a much lower score than most. The point is that GS is completely inconsistent, and growing more so. But, honestly, everyone should go to metacritic or gamerankings to get a better idea. Aside from that, rent a game that looks cool to you. It could be that you have completely different tastes from everyone else. yay!
I don't think it's really a question of quantity. It's a question of quality. I would reword it: Developers need to stop making so many mediocre fps or other genre games. Doesn't matter the system.
The author of that article does nothing but insult the consumer. Filled with claims that can't be confirmed nor denied. If only a completely simple and naive world existed that this author obviously was dreaming about. This mentality is the same one that spurred on the idiotic need for stuff like "doll does not walk or talk" in toy commercials. or... "for topical use only, don't spread on toast."
