Sorry to hear you're having trouble with KZ3 man. After title update 1.12, I notcied a relatively lengthy black screen after the move warnings. I'm talking 20-30 seconds maybe max, nothing like 20 minutes, although the black screen time does definitely seem to have increased with the latest patch if i'm not imagining things. The black screen time did seem to go down and I didn't even notice it after my third or so load up after the patch so maybe it sorts itself out (just speculation).

I can't offer much advice, you've already done the obvious things, such as trying a different disk and deleting and re-downloading the patch. another re-download might be worth trying or maybe you can try the killzone or playstation forums, you might find some more info or a fix there.

It can be done for sure. I can't remember how exactly, but you'll need to go to My FIFA and find your control options/configurations.

My brother only likes to play with the d-pad so I know it can be done, have a look around the options, i'm sure you'll find it.

Uncharted 1 is well worth a play through before 3 comes out

Just confirmed what I already knew.

Definite day 1 purchase for me and surely game of the year.

I didn't rate Assassin's Creed 1 much, but I did certainly enjoy 2 (apart from collecting those damn feathers!). I haven't played Brotherhood as yet and will probably pick it up on the cheap at some point, as I will with Revelations.

So yeah, my vote goes to Assassin's Creed 2.
