[QUOTE="ModeDude"]Personally, I think it's just a rip-off, giving you a game that you can buy much cheaper, only with a little polish.orb_03_2006Right, it's a such a rip off. Bring back a game with updated visuals that will most likely have co-op and multi player. Bringing back a classic is such a rip off. Any one else agree?
I think I kind of disagree. I think in a way, they're paying homage to one of the biggest games of all time. For me, back when the first Halo came out, it was kind of a sleeper hit, it kind of came in under my attention's radar, but it started something huge. While I agree there are better games than Halo, it's still a really good franchise and is wholly associated with Xbox. I think people think Halo when they think of Microsoft's Xbox gaming system.
So, in a way, they are updating the game and giving it back to the community with better visuals and physics, revamping a classic for all those others who might have missed out the first time around. Personally, I've been with Halo since the original Combat Evolved on the first Xbox, but it would be nice to see it out again because I liked it better than Halo 2 and 3. I felt like Reach was the first one to really go back to the roots of the first.
But, that's just my opinion.
