Schedules

Well, I haven't been trying to ignore my gamespot joys, it just seems that balancing work, school and side interests is getting really difficult. As I try to find room for my gaming fangirl-ism I hope my good friends on GS wait a bit longer for me. In the meantime, I'll try to pull myself away from Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. The most addictive handheld (GBA) game I've played in years. D:

Bored...

I know I'm an adult now, and there's plenty of things I can do to keep myself occupied...but... Summer seems to inspire the laziest part of ourselves. I'm just so bored. Too bored to want to do anything. >D Of course, that's just an excuse. There are plenty of things I should be doing. But--! Instead of doing important things, I've decided to work on some stuff for my LoF, maybe...it's still in the making, so... That's what I'll be preoccupied with this weekend. Lots and lots of photoshop. xD

New Faces...

No, I haven't met anyone new. I mean new faces, like, umm... This! ==> D: Or This! ==> >D They're new. o_o On a (slightly) more serious note, after a long hiatus (And a grammatical update!) I've returned to my GS life of posting and dealing with inevitable glitches. But that's alright, since I'm now completely used to annoying things, after working a retail job for a few months. Here I'd like to mention my current RPG interests. Due to the new release of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth I have a newfound interest in the new, upcoming Tri-Ace/Squeenix release, Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria. As a somewhat interesting background note, "Lenneth" is one of the three personalities of the "Battle Goddess" AKA "Valkyrie". Lenneth represents Belldandy in the world of Valkyrie Profile, and Silmeria represents Urd...I think. The third personality represents Skuld I suppose, but not much is known about that. Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria will arrive in the states soon for the PS2, and I highly suggest that you pick it up, since it takes place before Lenneth those who haven't played the series before won't be completely confused. ; ) I'll also mention that Rogue Galaxy, my beloved SPACE-PIRATE adventure has been pushed back to January 1st, 2007. Hooray, another half a year to go. D: This ends my pointless RPG update, expect more soon! Since I'm bored, and suffering from summer heat. That means more pointless babble, and incoherent vagueness caused by sunstroke. >D

DS dreams...

There is now a efficient line-up of DS RPG's to keep me busy this year. In fact, I've decided there are too many RPG's, and not enough time in my schedule to cover them all. Between working, spending, learning and meeting writing deadlines I don't think I'll ever have time to finish Dragon Quest VIII. And I blame that on the alchemy pot. I also keep reading stuff that I don't need to read. I think my procrastination has leveled up far beyond the normal allowance. I really need to get my priorities straight or I'll be facing real troubles once I graduate. XD ^ Do you see that? Most conversations that begin with DS RPG's don't end up talking about procrastination problems. I really am a waffler, like a certain someone always calls me. Children of Mana and Final Fantasy III are the bigger titles listed for the DS. Of course, if we see a sign of the Xenosaga for DS or some Baten Kaitos, I'll hardly complain. ;) And the DS lite is coming out soon! Woo! Sure, it's only coming out in white here in the US (And I think the Europeans are getting black.), but it's still cute and collectible.

Computer Troubles...

My belovedly old PC has been dying on me for over 6 months now. And I've made a deal with my dad, once my first 90 days at my new job are over, he'll lend me his credit so I can get a nice, new, oober-powerful PC. So yays! I'll probably post a lot more once it's fixed, 'cause it's a pain to go online with it as it is now. :O In other news, my post count is now correct, and updates the right way, so I'll be shooting for a couple hundred posts eventually. And...um...I feel like eating a taco salad. Sour cream, and chicken and tomato...Mmm... Have a nice Monday off, for those who celebrate labor day. XD

Yahoo~

I have a copy of Suikoden II on the way. T_T Oh, life does love me! I haven't played my Suikoden series for awhile, so I've decided to replay from the beginning to the newest edition, Suikoden V. I've actually never gone past Suikoden III, so I'm excited!

Catching up.

I'll catch up eventually just watch me. :X Here's another story. Why do I keep buying so many video games..? I don't really mention it very often, but I've been buying, on average, 3 brand new games every week. Why? Well, in February of this year, my house was robbed, and over 10 years of rare RPG collection was stolen as well. About 80 games were stolen. Valkyrie Profile... Suikoden 1-4... (Including II...>_>;; ) Final Fantasy Origins, Chronicles, Anthology, VII, VIII, IX, X & X-2... Wild Arms 1-3... Tales of Destiny I & II... I could go on, but you get the picture, right? T_T I had replacement insurance, so I get to re-buy everything, it just takes awhile, since %70 of the games I had were extremely rare. So, it's kinda been fun, repurchasing everything I once owned. Usually brand new! XD Once again, I have brought you another pointless story about my odd and unlucky life. :O Why? Because GS gives me the power to. ^^

Dead to the World.

Really busy. Really, really busy, so I'm sorry I cannot spread my waffling love to you. Finals are up and running and I have camping next week. But here's a funny story. :O My friends gave me sleeping pills on my 19th birthday...well, the day before my 19th birthday... They then stuffed me in their car and drove me into Mexico. Parked the car in the middle of nowhere and left me in the car while they drove off in the second car they'd brought. Waking up in Mexico, with no idea how you'd gotten there is kinda freakish. >_>;; They thought it was funny. After that, I made sure to tell their mom/dad 's where they stuffed their pornography and illegal drugs. :3 Friends are interesting, aren't they? o_o

Lazy days...

Today was a lazy day. So I worked on some editing, proofreading and various other side projects that I normally ignore. I actually finished a few! Which is a rare occurance. I think I was a child born to the philosophy "Why do today what you can do tomorrow?". XD Except, something horrible has happened. I...I...spent all my "extra" money. T_T And my father won't return the money I lent him! I'm...not over-funded. ;_; I hate not having money, that's why I have two part-time jobs, just so I can have cash up the wazoo. Of course, I'm whining a lot about it, but I get paid tomorrow. >_>;; I just don't like the fact that I'm almost totally incapable of saving up money. :O On that note, I'm almost half-way done with recovering my game collection. o_o Oh yeah, I haven't mentioned that yet... Oh well, there's always tomorrow. ;)

Mana!!!

Oh my goodness... No one can understand my true love for the Mana series. I love the oddly stylized, and strangely put-together RPG's more than is normal. Mana, Saga, Tales and Shadow Hearts is just the beginning of a long list of odd RPG's that appeal to me on an extreme level... So why the Mana rant? Because the DS version is close to America now, and I really can't wait to revisit the lovely detailed, and beautifully arranged world that Mana conveys. If you have a Nintendo DS, I strongly suggest that you pick up this title when it hits US shores, Children of Mana is an RPG you shouldn't miss. T_T Oh, and I'm level 10 now. ^^ "Phoenix Down" sounds so much cooler than the last level. :P
