Expansive? the 360 only has 2 AAA's that are not shooters, how Ironic... the PC has 47 AAE's which is 7x the ammount the consoles have togteher. ( since 360 launch)

PC isnt just about Crysis, there are tons of games in most genres bar fighting/platforming... thats about it ... oh and JRPGs.

I have 25 games for Xbox360 and not one of those purchases were made with GameSpot review scores in mind :roll:

The PC isn't just about Crysis, you're right there, but it's the Hermits that run around spamming threads with banal statements like "... But Crysis looks better", "...The PC version is better because it looks better", "... It'll be out in 3 months on the PC anyway", as if anyone actually cared.

The PC I am using now is new-ish (I bought it just under a year ago) and could probably run Crysis. I could run out and buy a new PC to run the game tommorrow if I felt the need.

I use PC's for various other reasons apart from games, I'd rather play games on consoles because they are so much more accessable and for the expansive games libraries that the PC doesn't have.

PC gaming does not equate with console gaming.

I used to play games on my PC ages ago, but havent since NWN.

I don't get what all the fuss is or why theyre even compared consoles here, as the differences are blatantly obvious. Hermits are quick to point out that PC gaming is simple and it's easy to build a good gaming rig for under $1000!

a) No, it isn't simple, and I bet 90% of the population would agree with me.
b) To build a PC from scratch that can run Crysis you would have to spend almost $2500 USD (I live in Australia) - and add another $500 in 4 years to that when it's time to upgrade.

Crysis is like the Final Fantasy of FPS - Generic and Flashy. Yes, I've seen the videos, demo's, dev. walkthroughs and although I'm impressed, it looks like more of the same old same old FPS action we've all come to know and get sick of.

It doesn't warrant the attention it's getting, and isn't looked upon subjectively by the throngs of smug-nerds creating topics about it every 2 seconds. Get over it.

I wouldnt bat an eyelid if PC games development dropped off the face of the earth tommorrow and I'm sure I'm not the only one...(?)
