Alot of publications stated that PDS was a better RPG than the over-hyped FFVII upon PDS' release, Gamerankings seems to confirm this:
Panzer Dragoon Saga - 92.9%
Final Fantasy VII - 92.4%
So why do so many people continuously state that the FF games are the be all and end all of RPG's when the pinnacle of the series was outscored almost everywhere by a Sega shooter spin-off.
I really hope PDS is remade, it is indeed an excelent game.
The real reason GS gave it such a low score was because they were dissapointed that it was just another shooter with RPG elements and a conversation system. Its an amazing AAA game but it wasn't really an RPG at all.meetroid8

What would be the point of making a new sega system ? So companys can make a 4th version of the game to go multiplat :?
3 systems is good enough. Sega's glory days are over and they just need to focus on makeing "quality" games.

Motion Control ? Sega's had it.
Online ? Sega pioneered it.
What else have the consoles bought to the table this gen?
Innovation doesn't equate with quality software, just look at the Wii - the place where Shovelware goes to die :roll:
