JUST got off of the Citadel after eight hours of play. I guess there's onlytwo planets or so before I beat the game.

I only left the Citadel after 4 hours because I wanted to explore the galaxy! There's still much I've yet to do on there!

I can't believe people (mostly Cows, naturally) actually believe an RPG of this magnitude would only be 12 hours long... hilarious.

I've had nothing wrong with the performance of Mass Effect... theres next to NO slowdown during fights and the only time i've really seen noticable slowdown is when in standing in the middle of a GIGANTIC environment, hardly anything to whine about. This game has more content than all the PS3 exclusives put together.

I'm only just 4 hours into the game and have *JUST* left the Citadel - the game has barely even started for me. There are so many fun sidequests in Mass Effect and it is all wonderfully written.

The most amusing part of it is that I absolutely DETESTED Sci-Fi... until now!

People whine about the graphics - they're fantastic, especially some of the planets I've landed on so far. There is occasional slow-down but it most certainly DOES NOT dip down to the 15-25 fps I've seen a few 'tards spouting on here.

The games story and atmosphere are second to none, easily better and more intricate than BioShocks, the "battle system" may look confusing at first, but it is streamlined and very simple to use, the dialogue and writing is superb, and the conversation system is just plain FUN.

Most of the people on here who go out of their way to complain about Mass Effect haven't even played the bloody thing, and by the looks of it you don't deserve to.

So, I'm 4 hours in and am still at the beginning of the game... Mass Effect is longer than 12 hours, stop being ridiculous.

the sci fi theme is a turn off for me as well, i think thats what he meant by that.the only science fictiony games i can stand are halo and metroid.

You're only saying that because you're an obvious fan of Mario, whose games have only included a "story" (and the same one for 20 years) to loosely string levels together.

Well I have played the demo and I must say this game is beautiful. I didn't think any game on PS3 this year would top Heavenly Sword in the graphics department but man was I wrong. Some of the little bushes on the ground actually move when you walk past them like in Crysis. TheAI is some of the best I have ever seenin a game theymove in such wide areas.I don't need to read any reviews for this game this game will be a day one purchase for me. Damn I'm glad I own a PS3. :D Back to CoD 4 now. 8)-Renegade
