Its pretty obvious what to expect from Sony this year at E3... hyping games that dont have a chance of release before 2010... Just look at their history from last E3?
please.. the most emotionally involving romance sub plots ever in a game dont qualify as RPG lol.
[QUOTE="Bdking57"]so now your saying final fantasy isnt an RPG.. get over it, no one likes your dungeon and dragons definition of a RPG.

You're right, I don't. The game itself does, and the game does not play like an RPG of any kind.

Not true. It's not a hardcore RPG but it does fallow the RPG guidelines.
How? By allowing you to choose your own character looks and class? Choose weapons that look and perform identically? In that case, COD4 must be an RPG, too!
Even the ability to initiate conversations does not make it an RPG, because these conversations do not contribute anything to the gameplay or to the direction of the campaign! So little attention has been placed in making the game truly interactive that it's obvious that the developers had no intention of providing any kind of "role-playing" experience. GTAIV is more of an RPG than Mass Effect.
Mass Effect is as much a shooter as it is an RPG. The character building is very minimal, the only resembelance of a deeper RPG is the conversations, which are as black and white as at gets.
Barely any depth to the RPG elements.

Its and RPG.. not a shooter son.

your in the wrong thread. we're discussing Mass Effect.
Yeah and I am as well. Mass Effect is garbage IMO. I don't care if it is on PC with better graphics or whatever. It won't change how the game plays and it plays like crap.
the majority has spoken, and they dont want to pay to play the game on PC.
[QUOTE="Relys"]It mixes ragdoll physics with predefined animations. Like in Halo 3.
But saying it doesn't have any physics is complete rubbish.
Most of the CPU usage is used up for the graphics, but it still manages to use a simple physics engine that simulates ragdolls, props, and the path of grenades.
Don't fail next time you create a topic, ok?
