@Diegoctba Do you perhaps feel the episode generalized teenagers too much? It can certainly be argued that it did. It may also have suggested that most comments of a derogatory nature can be attributed. I doubt Danny intended to sweepingly generalize though.

Great episode Danny. Always important to examine (or at least bring up the topic) of why this current issue is occurring. One can rarely solve a problem without examining why that problem exists.

@awheaten @shingui5 I would argue it isn't really a truth in the definite sense. Perhaps to you it is, but to others it isn't. Perspectives, such as the one you posted above, are not a science. There is no definitive answer or one true perspective out there. Basically that boils down to the simple fact that while for you, Gamespot staff may be too sensitive and be expected to get hate for their actions, for others that isn't the case :).

Yup, that is why I worded it that way :). Certainly a very sensitive topic, so if one is not careful it can quickly degenerate. Sorry if I was somehow mis-interpreted there :).

@Synthia @ricardo-sene Just to build on that example. On the opposite end of the spectrum, saying that there are inherent biological differences between the two sexes isn't likely to get you in trouble. At least, that is my interpretation of it :).

@Legolas_Katarn @Berkut4796 As funny as it sounds essentially yes :P. It is also the principle of it. I think it's a great practice for a company to announce terms of use changes (even if the terms of use say they don't need to).

I applaud the decision. Hopefully, with proper enforcement (or at least a show of enforcement) there will be a reduction in the amount of inappropriate comments posted to the site.

@Legolas_Katarn I think it's important they make it an announcement. They state it's a change to the terms of use. Usually, when a company does that, I prefer I be notified rather than it happen without my knowledge :).
