They can't win. No company has the right to consider virtual gold & silver their property. No sir.BounceDK

Yes, they do. It is transfer of in-game materials provided by their coding, on their servers, in their game. That "gold"doesn't even exist unless it uses Blizzard's code, servers, and game client to exist. Ergo, that gold is Blizzard's property.

Still, Blizzard isn't suing Peons4Hire over selling gold, they're suing them over spamming.

Go read some of the updates at GuilWiki. They've done a lot to the game. All armors have inscription slots in them now (allowing for greater customization), there is a loot scalling mechanic which gives better loot (on average), many of the skills have been tweaked to better balance the game, and the introduction of heroes in Nightfall is a great move. Also, if you thought the game was too easy before, give Hard Mode a try! (muah hahahaha!)

I'd say, go ahead and get Nightfall and see what you've been missing. (BTW, many of the updates, such as the inscriptions and lockpicks are available to all campaigns. So you can inscribe your armor even if you only have Prophecies) Also, GW:Eyes of the North (aka GWEN, remember Gwen? Supposedly she's making a reappearance) will add even more content. More weapons, skills, items, 4 new armors for each class, new multi-level dungeons loaded with great loot, new enemies, and there will be new regions to explore (such as the Charr's homeland). The only thing they won't be adding is new professions, which is fine by me. they have 10 already and I don't really think they need to add any more.

Baldur's gate and Baldur's gate 2 are easily some of the best games ever made.

You can get the whole series ( BG 1 + Tales from the sword coast + BG2 + Throne of Baal) for 15 Euro (that's about 15$ too, I think).

Just buy it and play them :-)

Avitu666
This is the best deal, and unfortunately (last I heard) this bundle is no longer sold stateside. They do sell a Baldur's Gate I collection (game + expansion) and a Baldur's Gate II collection (same deal), but they do not sell the entire series collection in the USA anymore.

The Baldur's Gate series is regarded by many as the best RPG games of all time. Especially Baldur's Gate II. If you haven't played them, do yourself a favor and get them. They're old, but they deliver where it truly counts for an RPG; storyline and gameplay.

A lot of people liek Rappelz. Personally, I thought it was pretty lame. It looks pretty good, though. 2Moons got pushed back (again) and won't be available until the end of July/beginning of August. Most other free MMOs, IMO, really suck. And I don't really consider Guild Wars to be a free MMO, as you do have to pay for the initial game. It's just that there are no subscription fees.

There is a cheat for curing Porphric Hemophilia.

Try looking it up at www.gamewinners.com

Talk to Raminus Polus at the Arcane University to get the cure vampirism quest.

Personally I wish people wouldn't give vampirism a technical name, hominus nocturne from blade sounds like a species of earthworms, and porphric hemophilia is an actually disease, so I think it is insensitive to associate it with vampires, how you feel if you had HIV and someone made a game where people with HIV turn into zombies?

neondarkness

If you go to the Porphyria page at Wikipedia you'd see that the disease has been suggested as the origin for the myths of vampires and werewolves.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porphyria#Vampires_and_werewolves

For more on natural sources believed to be miscounstrued as vampirism see;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire#Natural_phenomena_that_propagate_the_belief_in_vampires

Anywho, my thief (a custom stealth/acrobat profession I call "Burglar") is a vampire and I love it! The vamp attribute bonuses make my character even better! Plus, it's hella awesome watching her jump from rooftop to rooftop being chased by guards on the streets below. And if you need to go out into sunlight, just feed off of someone. Join a guild and feed on one of your guildies whilst they're sleeping.

*note Once you complete the Cure For Vampirism quest, there is (was?) a bug that allowed the Count of Skingrad to keep giving you 500g over and over again. Also, after being cured, your character will still look ugly and weird. To fix this, equip a helmet and then unequip it. (I don't know if these bugs were fixed in the later patches, but I hope that the "ugliness helmet fix" wasn't patched)

CoH's dynamic terrain was nice idea that has been sorely lacking from RTS games for a long time.

Overall, though, I agree with most other posters. Most genre of games tend to stagnate and rehash play mechanics. It's hard to come up with new, workable game mechanics. Especially considering that video gaming has been around for long enough that much of it is "tried and true". Heck, rap music hasn't really changed that much either, and that's been around for roughly the same amount of time.

i have a alienware ALX and i am playing dark messiah and it keeps crashing, it says MM.exe stops working can anyone help me out thanksmailtalon

Do you have WindowBlinds? Found this;

"If you are using windowBlinds and try to run Dark Messiah, you will get a 'mm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close' error, with error report option. MM.exe needs to be added to the windowblinds exclusion list in order for it to work."

http://forums.multiplay.co.uk/showthread.php?p=574750

Also found this;

"Just noting that a lot of people are having problems with an mm.exe error, it all relates back to engine.dll if you click on the more button. Anyway... the fix: Right click on the Dark Messiah icon, and click find target. Now right click on mm.exe. Now click compatibility tab, then click "Disable Visual Themes" and run the game. This has worked for me, and everyone else I know that has had the problem."
