You need an emulator program and the corresponding ROMs. A ROM is a digital copy of the cartridge. It is illegal to download and play any ROM of any game that you do not own.

Another way, that is legal to play if you do not own a copy of the original game, is to subscribe to GameTap.com They don't have every game ever made, but they do have many of the popular classic games.

Phantasy Star. Before SEGA ruined the franchise by making horrible MMOs. 1-4 are pure classics, though.

Commandos

Kings Quest

Doom

Blood

Mutant League. (ML Hockey was kind of weak, but still pretty fun. Why in the 9 Hells hasn't EA resurrected this franchise?)

Road Rash

Soul Edge/Blade/Caliber/Whatever

Winning Eleven/PES

-edit-

How could I forget to include the Metal Gear series? Especially since I've played each one since the NES days. :D

Dude, no one is going to "send" you Half Life 2 or any other game through MSN. This is NOT some warez site.

At first I thought it might be Archon, but some of the things just don't fit. Was it a PC game? About what timeframe would you say the game was made?

If I can play on my 3GHz CeleronD, 1GB DDR RAM, X800 rig, you should be fine. You might not be able to have everything turned on full, but you'll still be able to enjoy the game.

I got starforce on my comp when I installed Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. After I beat the game I reformatted. Partially because of StarForce, but mostly just to begin with a fresh install of XP.

I thought publishers would have left StarForce alone after the whole GalCiv II thingy and Ubisoft dumping them. Guess some publishers are just too retarded to care.

Thanks for the heads up.

I thought they were pushing Endwar to have top notch Graphics as well? If so I would buy a decent card of course by the time it does come out prices wil have most likely plummeted.

True. An ATI X1950XT is pretty cheap nowadays, and that thing blows my X800 away!

Well, without specs it's hard to tell. My guess would be that the game is clearing the RAM cache for new data. It could be your processor, but my money would be on RAM.
