@horizonwriter: XV had a cool world, at first....but the music is an after thought. The enemies...pointless. You can effectively beat that game with button mashing and some item use. Magic is pointless. The spells are area of effect, its a bigger area than combat zone...so you can drop that spell and nuke your own party. Dumb. Summons are set pieces...you cant trigger them yourself...its random in the open world....or non existent for some summons. The story is nonsensical. Side characters leave with no closure. A main character makes a big deal about how important it is to be a kingsguard...then fucking leaves with no explaination for a time. Your guy is the crown prince...in a high profile engagement...in a world with tvs and cell phones....yet no one knows you on site. People hate on XIII and its the weakest of them up to that point...but its story makes sense (its dumb) but it makes sense. XV is garbage and people somehow thinks its great.
@FLOPPAGE_50: Sony has far more exclusives. They also have larger populations on all multiplats. It ultimately comes down to games. I never cared one way or the other about graphics. Its not like we are comparing a PS4 to a wii u (ignoring nintendo's own games as a factor). If you dont care about the Sony exclusives, and play mostly multiplats and dont want to get into pc gaming seriously (owning a powerhouse pc is what i mean) then get the console that your friends are playing multiplayer games on. If that doesnt matter and you like AC, CoD all the stuff that will hit both, as long as cost isnt an issue, get an X. If you like the sony exclusives...get a pro. I like UC, i like what naughty dog does, i like their exclusives, my friends who game online are PS people (not that i play online with friends much). The console fights are just dumb. At least back in the SNES and Gensis era there were so many console exclusives it was a real contrast, even a ton of exclusives from third parties. Now its arguing over what 15 16 exclusives matter to you (and thats being generous).
@horizonwriter: im just wading right in FF12 was the last good FF. Its different but stillhad the magic to me. Its my favorite of the post 2000 ones (though I never played 9). Im in the FFXV is utter garbage camp. I love it at first then rapidly grew to hate it.
I really dont want an Uncharted Movie. At this point whats the point? Drake's story is done. The point of a movie like this is either to tell a story that a game cant tell, or to bring in new fans to the franchise. I think at this point its got the fan base it is supposed to have. Just let it go.
@doctor_mg: if square thought it was worth it they would. Except there is cross play with ps4 and pc, and sony isnt going to allow it with xb1....and since there are far more ps4s out there....
@Weaponn_X: yeah, this. I play a few games on pc, RTS games, Civ, ....and diablo, because ive always played it on pc. I ve played various mmo's, but i like console gaming. I hate that periodically a pc game can start crashing and i have to spend time figuring out why and what i need to do to fix it. I never run into that problem on consoles. I know there are buggy games....i simply wait on studios i dont trust to see if it is going to be a problem. Its rarely game breaking for me (except bethesda on sony platforms). I just prefer the simplicity of consoles.
@PSYCHOV3N0M: its not lazy. I have a premium on time, yet still dont want to spend that money buying a gaming pc. Ive been gaming on pc and console my whole life. Ive never built my own pc. Calling someone who thinks its too much work lazy...get off your high horse. Thats like saying anyone who goes out to get a burger is lazy, because you can buy all the components at home and make a better burger cheaper at home. I also take my car to a mechanic for most repairs. Because the time it would take me to do it myself is better spent elsewhere. the same applies to a gaming pc, in addition to the fact that i still enjoy games from nintendo and sony, neither of which end up on pc.
**** you nintendo. You are either awful at market research, or intentionally create product shortages to drive up demand. Either way you have eroded my faith in your company. Switch is going to be impossible to get for months. Nintendo thinks that if they keep it as the "hot" item all the way to the 2017 holiday season it will hold steady. If i cant get a switch at launch...ill just wait for the inevitable price drop when Sony pushes the PS4pro down to 350 and the games drought on switch makes people go back to the other consoles. It happened on wii u, it happened with wii. I bought a wii at launch, by march there was nothing to play beyond shovel ware. Took until later that year for Mario Galaxy, but by then i was bored and moved on.
@bentleyj10: ......the whole feed has been about the importance of exclusives, and particularly in response to this list of confirmed exclusives for MS. So whatever is coming is irrelevant if it hasnt been announced. My whole statement has been that at this point in the console cycle, the console with the smaller install base needs more exclusives to entice either late gen adopters or the owners of the other console. Other than 4k blu ray, there is nothing else to entice an undecided buyer. If they arent buying what their friends have, all the multiplats hit everything, so its down to exclusives. Third most important factor behind what? Graphics? System infrastructure? You really think going on 4 years of a console life cycle, people think psn vs live is the deciding factor? You are fooling yourself.
