@creation0: Yeah, i dont buy that. During the PS3 era exclusives is what kept Sony going. MS didnt have that many, Halo, Fable, Forza, Gears...some Rare games...the odd downloadable. Sony had GoW, Killzone, Resistance, R&C, Uncharted, TLOU, the Show, a ton of RPGs, Demons Souls, Little big Planet, Motorstorm. If you dont have the exclusives and the multi plats are being bought primarily on the other console? What do you have?

@bombsovase: Assuming you are in the US...hell Europe too. I cant see Scorpio being 4k. 500 or 600 maybe? If Sony is smart they will drop the pro from 400 to 350 by summer. And if they really want to kick in MS's teeth drop the console to 299 (the pro) by fall. If Switch comes in at 250 or 300, id be hard pressed to pick up a Scorpio if i can get a Pro and a Switch for the same price.

@Alecmrhand: I know MS has said no games exclusive to Scorpio. But ive got to think they are holding announcements to showcase games for Scorpio.

@Adam802: ...bs. Horizon, Persona 5, UC4 Standalone, Tales of Besaria, Hellblade, Nioh....Nier, its not even close.

If nintendo can bring that to market at 250....that will move units.

@sladakrobot: well, jrpgs always sold better in japan, and the japanese market went to mobile. There are still a ton of jrpgs on mobile.

@hoard_moard: we ll see. I think the console market is actually contracting. It took ps3 7 years to hit 80. If ps4 was going to hit 100 i think it would be in the 60m range already.

@jenovaschilld: I cant disagree with that conclusion more. CoD is what it is. First, they are completely different games appealing to different play styles. The "lets all knock COD" bit is tired. If you arent into JRPGs or open world RPGs and like FPS shooters, than COD is certainly better. There is absolutely nothing wrong with CoD. Its well engineered it has a broad multiplayer suite, its comes out on time every year fairly free of bugs. That it is feeling stale is a different factor completely. I dont buy cod, but to stay FF15 is better is just comparing apples to watermelons.

@jenovaschilld: yeah, ive been playing them since they came out in north america. The story is obtuse. I dont put it in the middle. Any game is also rated against the gaming landscape at the time. For a long time, final fantasy games were setting the standard for console rpgs. This doesnt do it, not by a long shot. Its better than 13....storywise, but 13 is a shit show. All the other releases have a more interesting and compelling story. Its a low rated ff game. I like my first 20 hours when i was questing...but then combat doesnt progress beyond an overdrive mode. Summons are controlled by you, so triggering them requires chance so you cannot count on them for combat...if you can, then that part is never explained in game. Characters just die off screen. There is the development of the bad guy, but its so poorly explained. he goes from helping you along, to fucking with you, but you dont understand why until after its all happened. Thats just bad story telling. The emperor and his generals are shown...then we never see them again. They make our Luna's brother like he is going to be a big deal and abig part, nope. One battle with highwind, then she has a change of heart down the line. Gladios sister? After you sail away just never again. So much of that game is characters written off. The only reason its better than 13, is because they made some of the characters likeable, where as in 13 they are all idiots.
