Looks better and is easier to work with, the same reason a ton of other devs are using it rather than their own engines.

CrimsonBlade360

It's made by Epic, and it's published by Microsoft.

I trust Kojima's judgement.

That is the single worst idea for a game I've ever heard.

If Kojima knows that little about the equipment he's working with, I wouldn't trust his judgement.

BD50's have been being used for months. Movies have been released on BD50. The current spec of Blu Ray doesn't in any way prevent ANY manufacturer from using it.

I'm a long time AVS poster, and they're completely wrong. The "current spec" of Blu Ray is not 25 gigs, several 50 gig Blu Ray movies have already been released (The Prestige, the Departed, etc.) There is absolutely nothing preventing a manufacturer/developer/studio from using a BD50 right now.

How old is your link?!?!

Honestly, to my eyes that doesn't nearly look good enough to be a completely remade version for the PS3/360.

If that's how the final remade version is going to look, count me out. Not evough of an improvement (I didn't buy the Wii version for the same reason. Adding Wii controls to a game I've already played to death is not enough of an improvement.) Maybe if they made it look absolutely insane, but that doesn't look likenearly enough of an improvement, 360 and PS3 could do much better.

Pass.

I love the original to death and have put well over 100 hours into it trying to do everything there is to do... it's one of the greatest games of all time, but seriously - how many times are they going to re-release it? Is Leon Capcom's Mario? Put more effort into the new one already and stop putting new coats of paint on the old one.

Maybe they should, but Sega doesn't have 1/50th the money it takes to do such a thing.

The PS2 sold BECAUSE of its games, the Wii sellsDESPITE its games.

If you sort by date you'll see the first 2 and 1/2 pages are all cancelled titles (and there are 50 listings per page)....

Arsuz

All right, that's 125 games less. Wich brings the percentage up to.....12.6%

I edited my post.
