Only if I really like the game, and they aren't tedious to obtain...Wrecked69

Yes, a memory unit will do the trick.

I don't own a PS3 and I prefer to play with a controller in front of a big screen TV. I don't even know if my PC meets the requirements for the game, nor do I care. I would never buy DA for the graphics because let's face it. It's not a very pretty game. At least not judging from any video or screenshot I have seen. Reviews seem to confirm this. I DO hate the fact that there is no top down view on the consoles. I'm going to miss that. Why Bioware? Why?

Now i know its all good fun and all playing online but recently i have just gotten so sick of games that have 500G or more of achievements that go "...win 500 games online" or the similar. I mean I'm a working guy and all, and the time I get to play on the Xbox is really just alone time...it takes a while to just complete the campaign...now to spend the time and effort on multiplayer achievements is just ridiculous! Often i find myself looking up the achievements of a game to see the ratio of single player to multiplayer points before buying it! what is the world coming to?...Zero_Burn2
As much as I like achievements, even challenging ones. I don't consider them at all when I buy a game. That said, Im with you. I don't like MP achievements and usually don't bother trying to get them. Achievement hunting is known to ruin online games and many people get them by boosting with friends anyway so they don't really say anything about your accomplishments as a gamer anyway. Also I don't play much multiplayer so getting most of those achievements would take forever.

[QUOTE="violent_spinal"]BioShock. One of the best games I've played. I fell in love with Raputre. And, about Mass Effect; If you want to get all you can out of Mass Effect, it's pretty boring. The side quests are beyond repetitive. The main quest is great. Not doing the side quests will cut you down a great deal of time, though. But, yes; The side quests make it a boring game.

100% agree. And Mass Effect is no where near 40-50 hours if you don't do side missions. Main quest is pretty good. Short, but good. Stay away from the side missions. Oblivion is fantastic and don't forget the Orange Box.

I voted 3rd person, but I also like the 1st person view. Depends on the game really. My all time favorite RPG is Oblivion which I play in 1st person mind you. I prefer JRPGs in 4th person or greater (by which I mean not at all)

I dont. You cant get enough key bindings with a simple controller, would end up using a keyboard attachment anyway. Might as well have it on a computer to begin with.Wrecked69
Why is it set in stone that an MMO needs a lot of key bindings? Lots of other games do just fine without. An MMO doesn't HAVE to be World of Warcraft you know. Think out of the box man.

Guys the question is not which is a necessity. Of course you need some type of gameplay to actually play. But rather, would you rather have an amazing story with good gameplay. Or AMAZING gameplaywith just a good story.

crazywayne287
I know. My comment implied that I, of course, prefer good gameplay over a good story any day.

Oblivion. Bought it on release. Haven't looked back. Never play PC games anymore and don't plan to.

[QUOTE="phynixblack"]Portal Gun. jmangafan
To be fair, its not actually a weapon. That being said, I wonder if Insult Sword fighting counts from Monkey Island?

Depends on what you consider a weapon. It can certainly be used as one by relocating your enemies to "unhealthy" positions: Shoot portal on high wall or ceiling above acid pool, shoot other portal under enemy. I believe the common definition of "weapon" as being a tool used for fighting and/or hunting is broad enough to cover this. Also it is called a portal GUN ;-) I'd say it has to be that or the gravity gun from Halflife.
