I love how this game gives you so many options to take enemies down.Knubbz360

That's one thing I'm really enjoying about the game in general. I don't think any of my kills, at least the Big Daddy kills have been the same at any point. I've had some where I died a lot while experimenting, but it's a blast.

On this playthrough, I'm saving them all. I won't on the next playthrough. If you spare the Little Sisters, you get gift of Bonus Adam every few saves.

Grenade launcher works good.goallie

I've found that and the shotgun with the electric bucks.

The easiest takedown so far was just to use the Hypnotize Big Daddy plasmid, and then let him take down the slicers and what not in the area. Just had to pop him in the head with an armor piercing bullet after that.

Either way should be pretty good. My brother and some others who have it like the play and charge kit. Mine was defective and wouldn't really charge, though. Even if the indicator said it was fully charged, it would only take a few minutes before I got the "reconnect controller" message. For awhile I thought it might have been the battery pack, but that holds a charge just fine now.

Anyway, I replaced mine with the quick charge kit. It's handy with two battery packs. I can charge one up while using the other one.

I've already played Half-Life 2 and Episode 1, so I'm most looking forward to Episode 2. Portal also looks like it'll be quite a bit of fun. I'm going to place a pre-order today. Can't believe I forgot when I went to pick up Bioshock. Got the rest of my list pre-ordered, though.

The PS2 version is okay, but nowhere near as good as the PC version. They dumbed some things down like inventory management, which is annoying if you want to have more of one type of weapon or other item than the slots will allow for. The levels are also cut up considerably to handle the PS2s RAM limitations. It wouldn't have been so bad, but some of the barriers are just odd. Part of the great thing about Deus Ex was the large areas to explore. Not sure why console games have to have barriers instead of an open environment with the occasional floating "loading message" when you get to the end of the zone.

The graphics also look better on the PC version. The PS2's "improved" graphics did look nice at one point (though I don't like some of the new character models like Paul Denton's), but the PC version at a higher resolution looks considerably better.

It's still a great game, despite some of the changes for the console version, but I'd stick with the PC version if you can.

I do take them seriously for how well they convey the quality and feel of the game for someone who's never tried it. I prefer video reviews anymore for being able to see the game in action in addition to the reviewer's comments.

The score given to the game is useful for gauging an overall sense of how good it might be, but I've found plenty of games I enjoy that didn't do so hot scorewise and haven't cared for many games that rate a high 9.X or even 10. It's more important why they rated a game as such than the score given.

Usually some form of Mountain Dew, especially Code Red, or water. Occasionally I'll have a Cola or Gatorade.

Gamer Fuel is all right once you get used to it. But the taste seems a lot of like liquid gummy worms. It's probably my third favorite Dew flavor after Code Red and Baja Blast.

I'll have to wait for more reviews to come in before deciding for sure. Though, I'm starting to lean towards just renting it as I've heard the single player is pretty short. There also doesn't sound like there's a lot of variety in the combat besides the number of opponents. While I did like the demo, I was hoping for more variety. The two fights were about the same other than the ability to knock opponents off the ledge in the second area.

I'm hoping some great exlusives will be hitting the PS3 soon. So far, it looks like I'm going to be buying almost exclusively for the 360 this fall. I'm still getting a lot out of the PS3 with Blu-Ray and PS2 games, but so far Resistance seems to be the only must have title for me.

I try not to, but I can't help myself. :P My brother and his friends usually gripe about it, but then they do it, too. Now I just take over my tv along with my Xbox so we're not staring at the same screen. Sometimes we play in different rooms, too.
